The DANTE module allows multiple Titan or Atlas units to be connected directly to a DANTE equipped network.
The DANTE module allows multiple Titan or Atlas units to be connected directly to a DANTE equipped network.
With this setup, DANTE users can enjoy the excellent sound quality of both the Titan and Atlas A/D and D/A converters, and their equally well regarded on-board microphone preamplifiers. Titan was recently rated 'the pinnacle of USB recording' with 'fantastic converters and mic pre's' by John Gatski, of Everything Audio Network.
Control of the Prism Sound Titan or Atlas units when connected to DANTE is easy. When connected over a network the units are controlled using a dedicated software app that is available for both Mac and Windows. This enables you to control the units from any computer on the network or via its dedicated USB port. The set up information can be stored for instant recall within the dedicated app unlike many third party interfaces whose settings cannot be recalled.

Though identical in appearance to the SD7, the SD7B goes a stage further as it has been developed for broadcast applications.
Though identical in appearance to the SD7, the SD7B goes a stage further as it has been developed for broadcast applications. As well as full Flexi channel capability, routing flexibility has been vastly increased to allow for LCRS and 5.1 mixes as well as stereo and LCR.
In addition, broadcast-specific features include a complete 5.1 monitor matrix with 48 x 6 source to speaker selection; mutli channel folding; user defined stem order selection; Mix Minus busses (one per mono channel); backstop PFL (over press) and Auto PFL; and Audio Follow Video implementation.
Scratching the surface
A combination of technologies have been seamlessly integrated into the SD7B's worksurface to meet the everyday needs of any engineer. We've managed to pack them into three user-friendly interactive 15-inch high-resolution touch screens, each of which accommodates a bank of 12 faders, to provide the user with the perfect platform – everything is just 'where it should be'.
To make navigation even easier, we've added high-definition interactive meter bridges and multicoloured knobs and switches; and for further functionality and flexibility, 16 assignable faders (one bank of 12, one bank of four) sit neatly below the master screen in the centre of the console, taking the SD7B's fader tally to a sizeable 52.
To increase the fader count further for multi-engineer applications and shows, an EX-007 Fader Expansion unit is available. Two EX-007s can be connected via a simple Cat5e connector for remote control or simply to increase your fader count to 100.
Quantum is a newer and smarter engine which offers so much more to users on so many levels, and allows engineers to upgrade into new generation technology with no learning curve whatsoever.
When DiGiCo built SD7, we never thought anyone would fill the console. However, due to the constant rise in production values, and audiences demanding more and more from their favourite artists, tours are now regularly pushing multiple SD7s to maximum capacity. Shows are way bigger than they used to be and as a result, engineers need a lot more outputs, signals, and channels.
To address this issue, we have developed Quantum, a newer and smarter engine which offers so much more to users on so many levels, and allows engineers to upgrade into new generation technology with no learning curve whatsoever. In creating Quantum, we wanted to guarantee that our customer base could maintain a return on their historical investment by providing them an affordable engine upgrade for their existing work surface.
We needed to make the next major technological step forward, into generation seven FPGA technology, and that's what Quantum has done. It will make shows easier to manage, with plenty of room for growth; it's a more flexible system, four generations newer in terms of capacity, therefore so much more can be done with it. Faster, more efficient, future-proof, and way more powerful.
The Dante card allows 64 channels tobesentto/ received from a Dante network. As well as providing audio exchange with other Dante-enabled equipment, the card also allows 64 channels of audio to be connected directly to a PC or Mac computer for recording or processing, by using a standard Ethernet connection*.
Routing and setup of the network is done using an external computer running Dante Controller software (available FOC from the Audinate website).
A BNC sync output connector on the card allows the console’s wordclock input to be driven by the network clock, if required by the clocking setup.

L100 is the latest addition to the SSL Live console family. It provides a physically smaller premium solution for customers who prioritise outstanding sonic performance in space restricted installations, for sub-mix positions or corporate production.
L100 sets itself apart with its compact, 12 + 2 fader configuration frame, while using SSL's fast access layer / bank switching and Super-Q technology to ensure no channel, group, aux, VCA, or master is ever far away from the engineer’s fingers. Users who require more faders can expand the L100 with the addition of SSL’s new Remote Tile and more screen space can be added via an external touchscreen and tablet control.
The 17” multi-gesture touchscreen gives access to all of the console’s functions, and combines with Quick Controls in the Fader Tile to provide intuitive, immediate hands-on hardware control. The integrated tablet device stand combines with the newly released version of SSL’s TaCo tablet control application to offer an additional control interface for channel or Effects Rack processing. The Master Tile also provides Mute Group, Solo/Talkback, Assignable keys, and Automation controls.
SSL's L200 is a new mid scale console that brings the superb sound, accelerated workflow and advanced feature set of SSL Live to a new level of affordability.
SSL's L200 is a new mid scale console that brings the superb sound, accelerated workflow and advanced feature set of SSL Live to a new level of affordability.
SSL Live consoles are designed to help highly skilled operators deliver outstanding performances in the most demanding applications in Touring, Installation, Houses Of Worship and Theatre. Like all SSL consoles the secret to the success of the L200 is SSL’s dedication to great sound. Part of the success is attributable to exemplary hardware performance throughout the signal chain: bringing SSL Studio grade mic pre’s to the stage, outstanding audio conversion, 96kHz operation and magnificent summing. There is a sublime transparency, definition and detail in the fundamental sound of the L200 that is difficult to describe but is immediately recognisable as the SSL signature. An equal, perhaps even greater part of the secret of the power of the L200 is however the way it enables operators to perform at their very best. The deceptively simple ergonomic excellence of the combination of multi-touch screen control with assignable hardware controls, the use of colour coding, the open architecture which lets engineers configure the console layout to suit their own way of working, the arsenal of processing options, the precision and depth of those processing tools… and so much more… it all combines to let the operator get where they can hear they want to be extremely quickly. Like all great creative audio technology, SSL Live consoles are instruments for engineers.
The VP12X station is an off-the-shelf 12-zone paging station that’s designed to mount in a standard 8″ x 10″ Hoffman box like the C-P1612. A single Ethernet cable provides Dante/AES67 network audio, power (PoE), and control between each V-Page station and the equipment room where the DSP is located. It even supports SFP network modules for application that require a long run back to the equipment room.
Alcorn McBride believe that paging solutions should be a breeze to install and intuitive to operate. That’s why they designed the V-Page family of products to leverage the flexibility of industry-standard DSP platforms like Q-SYS and provide a simple button-based UI that just makes sense.
