With the X-EDAI Ethernet & Dante Audio Interface expansion card, LD Systems complements the possibilities of the X-ECI Ethernet Control expansion card with a Dante Audio Interface with four inputs and outputs. Thus, X-EDAI offers both remote control and access to the DSP settings of LD Systems IPA DSP installation power amplifiers as well as easy integration of the IPA series into existing Dante audio networks.
In conjunction with LD Systems QUESTRA® software, the X-EDAI interface card provides flexible and effective configuration and control of fixed audio installations of various sizes - whether in hotels, restaurants, shopping centres, sports facilities, office environments and more.
The X-EDAI Ethernet Control expansion card has two IP network ports: While the 100 Mbps Ethernet port provides control and DSP access for the IPA installation power amplifiers, the second port can be used to transmit and receive four incoming and four outgoing Dante audio channels. The configuration and routing of the Dante audio channels is done as standard in the Audinate Dante Controller software.
Furthermore, the X-EDAI expansion card has a status LED and an IP reset button for quick and easy troubleshooting. Thanks to the card's asymmetrical pin arrangement, accidental incorrect installation of the interface card in the IPA housing is impossible.
Via the QUESTRA® software, system integrators can access all DSP settings of the IPA installation power amplifier. The possibilities range from signal processing at the input (preamp, compressor, etc.), signal flow in the matrix mixer, output processing (EQ, dynamics, delay, polarity, mute) to priority settings and preset management. In addition, customised control panels can be created in the QUESTRA® software, which can be used by end customers on smartphones, tablets or computers (via the QUESTRA® Panels app) for convenient control of their system.
When it comes to sending and receiving extremely large numbers of audio signals over a network, the solution is called: Dante with the Clara E.
Up to 512 bi-directional channels, connection over long distances through low-cost network cables and infrastructure, samplerates of up to 192 kHz, auto-configuration – all these advantages of the Dante protocol are now available with the Clara E at an amazingly low price. In contrast to virtual solutions, the Clara E offers the security of redundancy with 2 separate network ports and latencies down to 1 ms in connection with the reliable PCIe interface.
The continuously enhanced driver includes multi-client support for ASIO 2.2 as well as multi-channel WDM audio / WASAPI with the lowest latencies in all software environments. This ensures that multiple audio applications can access the sound system simultaneously via the same or different driver interfaces.
Each input signal of the sound system can be adjusted in volume and routed latency-free to any output. The BEAST DSP mixer also sums up to 64 signals to 8 different busses and plays them back on any number of outputs without delay. Furthermore, the BEAST Mixer adds playback signals from any DAW. In each channel of the BEAST mixer there are 4 parametric EQ available for sonic processing.
An optional plug-on module serves as a bridge to the classic audio formats and expands the Clara E with AES/EBU, ADAT or analog interfaces. In the routing and in the Beast Mixer the signals of these interfaces are available as well and can thus be integrated into the Dante network.
If several Clara E are installed in one computer, they are synchronized via the TDM SyncBus and appear as a combined sound system to an ASIO application. In the Beast Mixer, up to 32 audio signals can be exchanged with other Clara sound systems (e.g. Clara Dmaj) and thus also be integrated for use with ASIO.
Every MARIAN sound system is a quality product developed 100% in Germany and manufactured according to DIN EN ISO 9001. This is guaranteed by its warranty period of 5 years.

The 4-channel loudspeaker controller module with digital signal processing for amplifiers of the KS AUDIO series
CA 4D and TA 4D. A unique convincing solution for perfect sound and easiest handling. The KS D MOD controller module complements the F MOD modules for applications where no quick change of the loudspeaker systems is required - i.e. especially in the installation area.
The one-time configuration of the loudspeaker system is done on the module by a USB stick transmitting the data while the system is switched on. During that process, both the signal inputs and the power outputs automatically receive the correct function:
from four individual channels
via two channels in Bi-Amp
or high-power bridge mode
to a single-channel 3-way active loudspeaker system with woofer-bridge mode output, and optionally “BI-Amp” control.
a SAT mode is also available in which the L+R signal is summed up to mono sub-low.
In addition to digital signal processing with FIR filter tech- nology, the special feature of the D MOD is its complete operability and controllability via standard networks. An integrated gigabit switch allows daisy-chaining to the next device. The KS REMOTE PC software enables easy ma- nagement and graphically, easy to understand, operation of an unlimited number of controller amplifiers arranged in groups.
All inputs can be controlled either digitally or analogously. Simultaneous digital and analog operation is also possible. A network-audio transmission using DANTETM protocol is available as an option.
Despite the many new possibilities and state-of-the-art technology, the D MOD can replace an existing analog or digital controller by simple front-panel installation. This puts your public address system back on the cutting edge of technology.
The Dante PCI e card Astoria connects the PC to a Dante network and allows resource-saving Dante IO over 128 inputs and 128 outputs with extremely low latencies.
Astoria supports 48 and 96 kHz with 128 inputs and outputs and 192 kHz with 64 inputs and outputs.
The PCI e card installs itself as a core audio device on the Mac or as an ASIO device on Windows.
Four Audio also provides a Linux ALSA driver.
The onboard processing on the card conserves the resources of the PC.
