Pan Acoustics – PB 04-D

The Pan Acoustics Pan Beam PB 04-Dante offers PoE functionality. The new power supply feature, Power over Ethernet (PoE) offers many advantages.

The user of the sleek Pan Beam PB 04-D arrays enjoys all the advantages of being connected to a Dante network: up to 64 parallel high-quality audio channels are available through the audio network, i.e. up to 64 different audio signals can be transmitted simultaneously. This is a tremendous asset in scenarios where the user wishes to broadcast certain music in one area and make variable announcements in others, e.g. at exhibitions, in multiuse facilities or conference rooms.

Aurora Multimedia – IPX-TC3

The IPX-TC3 provides one of the most advanced IP Streaming solutions on the market utilizing Aurora’s IPBaseTTM technology, which synergizes various IP/AV standards to work together as one.

It is the industry’s first 4K2K transceiver with zero compression and latency based on BlueRiver NTTM platform. Using a transmitter (encoder) and receiver (decoder), respectively, used to be the standard – until now. The IPX-TC3 can be set up as either one to make installation, inventory, and troubleshooting easier. Another industry first is the option slot to add other IP capabilities, like ExtremeUSB® (USB 2.0 over IP), ReAX™ IP control option or Dante™ audio, for a more complete, distributed system.

Audio, video, data, and control can be sent securely to one or many units using off-the-shelf 10G Ethernet switches. When the IPX is set up to be a transmitter, the 2 HDMI inputs become a source switch and the HDMI output becomes a potential loop out. When set up as a receiver, a user can select the local HDMI inputs or an IP source. Seamless switching of sources further enhances the presentation. Regardless of how the IPX is set up, the audio can be de-embedded at any locations, break away, and/or be sent to or received from a Dante® enabled device. The USB 2.0 option is also flexible, working as a KVM and/or a high-speed data transfer (480Mbps) for memory sticks. Each IPX USB feature can also be set as a host or a device. To keep the system friendly, a customizable OSB and web server are available to be programmed as required. For RJ-45 LAN devices, the 1G Ethernet port allows full bandwidth end-to-end over the IPX 10G fiber or copper port.

Sony – MAS-A100

The MAS-A100 is a state-of-the-art speech reinforcement and recording solution. Attaching and positioning lavalier microphones is time-consuming, and handheld microphones restrict movement.

However, the Beamforming Microphone is simply affixed to the ceiling, then ready to use—leaving the orator location-free, hassle-free and hands-free to focus on presenting. Sony's comprehensive solution employs audio volume stabilization and clear audio processing to produce sharp recordings. The MAS-A100 has two channel outputs. The dual-output channel enables speech reinforcement and recording simultaneously. The dedicated rec channel records with a wider capture range and optimal intelligibility—perfect for lecture capture.

AUDAC – MFA208

This revolutionary amplifier is designed as a two-channel amplifier using class D amplifier technology. It can be used for powering low impedance stereo systems with a maximum power of 2 x 40 Watt, while bridging to a constant voltage (100V and 70V) is possible with a maximum output power of 80 Watt. A switch-mode power supply allows a wide variation of mains voltages for global compatibility.

The integrated SourceCon™ module* slot allows the implementation of any available compatible module, offering a true all-in-one solution. Typical applications are the implementation of an audio streaming module or internet radio module. Additionally, a stereo line input allows connection for any kind of external audio sources.

A balanced mic/line input allows connection for an announcement microphone with compatibility for condenser microphones using the integrated phantom power supply (15V). A priority switch overrides the background music when enabled and compatibility with line-level sources (e.g. voice file players) is guaranteed by wide gain adjustment (0 dB ~ +50 dB). Thanks to the 2.8” TFT display and the push rotary dial on its front, an unmatched user experience is achieved.

The MFA series are both RS232, RS485 and TCP/IP controllable allowing implementation with home & industrial automation systems and peripheral devices. Using the freely available AUDAC Touch™ 2 application, control and configuration can be done from any portable or non-portable device on any location and at any time.

Desktop installation or mounting in an equipment rack using the MBS1xx series mounting adapters is possible. The half 19” rackspace enclosure allows single installation in a 10.5” equipment rack, or side-by-side (two devices) in a 19” equipment rack.
