Monacor – DRM-884

Monacor's DRM-884 is s general solution for versatile multi-room PA concepts with fixed installations in hotels, restaurants and bars, conference rooms, schools, sports and fitness centres.

The matrix system DRM-884 is a professional tool with extensive features which easily meets any requirement: users can combine signal sources, play one source in several zones or several sources in one zone, adjust the volume in each zone and much more. The audio matrix router DRM-884 is the heart of the system which is able to distribute a maximum of 8 analogue and 4 digital audio sources to just as many output zones, any assignment possible. You can either connect active speakers or a power amplifier with passive speakers to the output zones via Phoenix terminals.

The multifunctional matrix system is controlled via wall panels: modules DRM-884VAP and DRM-884VP allow you to remotely access, e.g. level and program selection in the different zones. The wall panel DRM-884IOP allows for other connection options are available, e.g. at the location of the PA application. The zone paging microphone DRM-884RC with zone selection can be connected for announcements.

Expand your options with the matrix system: if you need a larger number of inputs and outputs, the system can be extended from a maximum of 16 x DRM-884 and optional Dante® module to 192 inputs x 192 outputs by means of cascading.

With the Dante® extension module DRM-884DTM, the DRM-884 can quickly and easily be inserted into a Dante® audio network. For this purpose, there are an additional 8 digital inputs or 8 digital outputs available which can be assigned to either an analogue output or a Dante® channel.

MultiDyne – 12G BULLET

MultiDyne’s 12G BULLET solves the problem of high-bandwidth, single-link transport to and from any video source. At only three inches in length, the 12G BULLET connects to the back of any camera, monitor or other video source, with the ability to add more units without additional power cabling. A camera operator with four video outputs can interlock four units together, and support a multichannel production off of a single power supply without the need for multiple wall warts. The new BULLET for Dante and Ethernet adds another layer of efficiency to field and mobile production teams managing digital audio feeds over long-distances. The common interlocked mounting capability across both products means that users have a quickly scalable and problem-solving option for video, audio and Ethernet feeds in the field. That patented interlocked mounting innovation, along with centralized power distribution, are key differentiators from previous BULLET generations and competitive products. The 12G BULLET integrates cable equalization and re-clocking techniques to optimize signal integrity across all short- and long-distance transport needs, removing the presence of jitter from existing signals. Integrated OLED monitoring adds value through consistent readings of jitter rates, signal type, optimal power and more. BULLET products are also available with a special 1RU tray capable of housing up to 24 devices, and support 12G SDI rates down to 5Mbps. This makes the BULLET series ideal for virtually any broadcast and AV-related field acquisition need, from high-end sports production and pre-fibered venues to courtesy feeds, confidence monitoring and distance learning.

Unika – NBB-0202

The NBB-0202 bi-directionally transmits 2x2 audio to and from Dante audio network. It accepts wide range of signal from MIC to LINE level while its output capability meets the industrial standard up to 24dBu. The NBB-0202 adopts Audinate Dante networking technology for audio transceiving, and is very network friendly with unlimited flexibility in topology of deployment. It supports up to Layer 3 of IEEE 802.3 network standard, enabling you to organize your audio network with the on-the shelf Ethernet switches or to immediately transport streaming audio by taking advantage of your existing installed network facility with no hassle. Even better, every NBB-0202 comes with two Ethernet ports which allow you to physically cascade several NBB-0202s in the same network link. Accompanying with Ethernet switches, this capability helps NBB-0202 gaining flexibility and expanding territory in device deployment in audio networking. Audio routing among each NBB-0202 and all the other Dante-enabled devices is configured via computer with dedicated Dante Controller software which is available free from Audinate website. With Dante Virtual Soundcard software, you are even able to have your DAW software direct record/play stereo streaming audio from/to NBB-0202. The audio input/output interfaces of NBB-0202 are fully met the requirement of professional audio industrial. Audio is encoded/decoded with the latest and uncompressed 24-bit PCM encoder/decoder with sample rate in 44.1KHz, 48KHz, or 96KHz. The NBB-0202 outputs are peculiarly buffered with amplifiers of high-rail-voltage which can drive the lines up to 24dBu. Besides the high-level of drive capability, the output of NBB-0202 can also be attenuated to meet the narrower reception range of inputs of some semi-professional devices. Both inputs of NBB-0202 accept signal of level from mic to line with individual gain and phantom power control. The Dark8ADI provides 8 line level analogue audio inputs and 4 x AES3 (8 audio channels) inputs to your Dante network. Like our other Dark units it has redundant network interfaces and redundant power supplies. The DARK8ADI (Analogue & Digital Input) is a very powerful Dante®/ AES67 network audio interface, in a robust 1RU 19" subrack It has a 8 off low noise analogue line inputs and 4 off transformer balanced AES3 digital audio inputs. These inputs are transmitted on a fully redundant Dante®/ AES67 network interface. In total 16 audio circuits are sent to the Dante®/ AES67 network. Eight of these circuits are always derived from the 4 x AES3 inputs, the other eight are automatically switched between the AES3 and analogue inputs. If the Dark8ADI detects valid AES3 signal on a channel then this will be routed to the network output, if no valid AES3 is detected then the analogue input will be routed to the network output instead of the AES3. The rugged design, redundant mains powering & redundant network facility of the unit means that it can easily be placed and left unattended wherever audio sources are required.
