The XRAI Glass software converts audio into a subtitled version of conversation, which then appears on the screen of an accompanying pair of AR glasses. The software’s voice recognition capabilities can identify who’s speaking, and is also capable of translating conversations, with translation transcription options available in nine languages, including English, Mandarin, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish, with more languages to follow.
The HDSPe AoX PCIe x4 audio interface cards combine dual network ports with headphone output, AES3, MIDI, and internal expansion headers for up to four MADI ports. Whether used in a Thunderbolt™ expansion chassis or built into DAWs or audio processors, these cards send and receive up to 512 channels of audio and provide numerous mixing and routing capabilities.
The vast number of channels can be managed by the user in two steps. Using a driver dialog or web interface, the user first adjusts the network vs. optional MADI channel count, and then pre-selects which inputs reach the 256 channel TotalMix engine. The remaining 256 channels are passed straight through. All 512 channels are visible to the DAW for recording. TotalMix offers its basic functionality without effects, but with all the great benefits such as presets, layouts, loopback, sub-mixes, and many more.
The Audient ORIA is the world’s first audio interface and monitor controller designed specifically with immersive audio in mind. Built for creating immersive audio mixes for formats such as Dolby Atmos, ORIA lets you calibrate, control and monitor multi-channel speaker arrays from stereo up to 9.1.6 and everything in between. Perfect for music, film, TV, game and VR production. Designed with a dual purpose, ORIA not only excels as a powerful USB-C audio interface providing 16 outputs for up to 9.1.6 mixing workflows, but can also effortlessly integrate into your existing studio setup as a standalone monitor controller via its ADAT Inputs. Flexibility where you need it.
ADVANCED SPEAKER PROCESSING
ORIA’s Advanced Speaker Processing lets you calibrate your room and create custom onboard calibration Profiles (presets) for any monitoring format from stereo to surround to 9.1.6 immersive setups, making reference checking your mix in different formats a breeze.
Add to that the ability to calibrate your room in one of two ways. Either create a Profile by manually taking room measurements and dialing in the calibration settings or take advantage of upgrading to Sonarworks.
This is the new iPad Remote App and optional Dante Card for its ORIA immersive audio interface and monitor controller.
The iPad Remote App is free of charge and allows the user to control ORIA remotely, as the name says, from an iPad. By tapping on ORIA’s other control tabs in the side menu of the Home tab, users can get more detail via an expanded view of the device’s functionality.
The Dante Card is an optional extra, providing up to 16 input channels over AoIP when used as a stand-alone monitor controller. Existing customers should contact their reseller to organize retrofitting the Dante Card into their ORIA to ensure the warranty remains valid.
Third party applications that use Dante Ready™ allow customers to purchase and activate Dante audio channels after installation using the Dante Activator tool in Dante Controller 4.5 or higher. Dante Activator is tied to an active Audinate user account and accepts standard credit card payments.
