SWP1 series network switches are a solution the pro audio market has been waiting for, offering an ideal balance of IT and pro audio know-how that only Yamaha can provide. The SWP1 series makes audio network setup, monitoring, and operation easier and more convenient than ever before.
Complex network switch setup that was previously better left to an IT technician can now be easily accomplished by anyone. A simple switch setting is all it takes to optimize SWP1 series network switches for Dante operation, and a dedicated Windows application provides “network visibility” for comprehensive monitoring and control.Yamaha first entered the network device business in 1995, and has grown to hold a significant share of Japan’s small to medium enterprise and SOHO network market. Yamaha gigabit L2 switches that could be linked to Yamaha routers/firewalls were introduced in 2011, with features that significantly reduced the network setup, maintenance, and management workload.20 years later audio networking has become one of the fastest growing, most highly valued technologies in the live sound and pro audio fields. An expanding range of Dante capable Yamaha products, including the highly regarded CL series digital mixing consoles, continues to lead the way. The QFlex 8 can be used as a standalone self-powered column array device for speech only applications in smaller spaces, where only limited steering is required. For greater degrees of beam control and longer throw, full range applications, a larger QFlex model is recommended.
QFlex is a range of digitally steerable, multi-channel, array speaker systems for the professional install market. QFlex is designed as a complete solution for applications with difficult acoustics, such as houses of worship, transportation hubs, convention centres, conference facilities, shopping malls, performing arts centres and museums.
QFlex is quite revolutionary in that it is able to achieve even coverage and SPL which is maintained across the listening plane. QFlex is able to create an asymmetrical pattern which allows similar SPLs both in the near and far field. It is able to steer the beam away from surfaces that cause reflections to frequencies beyond 12 kHz, making it the first digitally steerable array to maintain music quality over the desired area of coverage, all in a very architecturally pleasing package.
The intuitive BeamEngine GUI allows the designer to specify target areas. Based on those target areas a steering algorithm is generated and tailored for that specific area, rather than having to choose from a limited palette of opening and steering angles.
New features introduced on QFlex deliver more resolute safety and monitoring facilities, making it fully compliant in any life safety or mass notification environment. In addition QFlex has been weatherised for outdoor or harsh environments without compromising on the product’s sleek aesthetic, making it perfectly suited for large scale transport hub applications such as within airport terminals and major train stations. Among the key improvements on this front are the addition of Pilot Tone Detection capability, Sentinel SM1 System Monitor and certification to IP53 standards.
The RedNet AM2 is a compact stereo monitoring unit combining a high-gain headphone amplifier with line outputs for flexible monitoring of signals from a Dante network.
The RedNet AM2 is a compact stereo monitoring unit combining a high-gain headphone amplifier with line outputs for flexible monitoring of signals from a Dante network. RedNet AM2 features a ¼" front-panel TRS headphone socket plus a pair of rear-mounted balanced line outputs with male XLR connectors for loudspeaker monitoring and other applications.
Designed to drive high or low impedance headphones at high levels, the headphone output delivers significant audio output power. The compact unit, mounted in an enclosure based around a sturdy road-worthy aluminium extrusion, is fitted with non-slip feet, and can either sit securely on a flat surface or be mounted on top of a mic stand using the standard threaded bush incorporated in the base.
RedNet AM2 includes the latest two-channel Dante receiver and provides high-quality digital to analogue conversion for accurate monitoring on loudspeakers or headphones. Two large volume control knobs are provided for Headphone and Line output levels, the latter featuring a mute button with associated LED. Other indicators show the presence of power, network and signal level.
Dual locking etherCON connectors are included to connect the network and to daisy-chain to additional network devices. The unit is powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE) or via the rear-panel barrel connector and included DC power supply.
