Unika – NBB-0202

The NBB-0202 bi-directionally transmits 2x2 audio to and from Dante audio network. It accepts wide range of signal from MIC to LINE level while its output capability meets the industrial standard up to 24dBu. The NBB-0202 adopts Audinate Dante networking technology for audio transceiving, and is very network friendly with unlimited flexibility in topology of deployment. It supports up to Layer 3 of IEEE 802.3 network standard, enabling you to organize your audio network with the on-the shelf Ethernet switches or to immediately transport streaming audio by taking advantage of your existing installed network facility with no hassle. Even better, every NBB-0202 comes with two Ethernet ports which allow you to physically cascade several NBB-0202s in the same network link. Accompanying with Ethernet switches, this capability helps NBB-0202 gaining flexibility and expanding territory in device deployment in audio networking. Audio routing among each NBB-0202 and all the other Dante-enabled devices is configured via computer with dedicated Dante Controller software which is available free from Audinate website. With Dante Virtual Soundcard software, you are even able to have your DAW software direct record/play stereo streaming audio from/to NBB-0202. The audio input/output interfaces of NBB-0202 are fully met the requirement of professional audio industrial. Audio is encoded/decoded with the latest and uncompressed 24-bit PCM encoder/decoder with sample rate in 44.1KHz, 48KHz, or 96KHz. The NBB-0202 outputs are peculiarly buffered with amplifiers of high-rail-voltage which can drive the lines up to 24dBu. Besides the high-level of drive capability, the output of NBB-0202 can also be attenuated to meet the narrower reception range of inputs of some semi-professional devices. Both inputs of NBB-0202 accept signal of level from mic to line with individual gain and phantom power control. The NBB-0202 is also equipped with a pair of clip indicators for both the inputs to warn audio technician any signal overload on inputs. The NBB-0202 is assembled in a sturdy metal chassis with elegant style of front panel. A set of rackmount kit is included in the package so that you can mount the NBB-0202 in standard 19" rack. The AVN-CU2-DANTE is a portable commentator unit. Using Dante® AoIP together with 4 wire connections the AVN-CU2-DANTE bridges the gap between old and new technology, allowing the ease of connectivity & functionality of AoIP, together with the legacy connections needed to operate with the existing infrastructure in some stadia and sports grounds. This new Dante® commentary unit has been beautifully designed and is smaller than the existing Sonifex CM-CU1 single 4-wire unit whilst packing in more features. It’s been designed from the ground up to be configurable for different situations with config files that can be saved and recalled for quick setup. Additionally, buttons and rotary encoders can be locked out from use, if the unit is being operated by less-technical commentators. The unit supports up to 16 input and output AoIP channels and up to 16 simultaneous input and output AoIP streams. Stream setup to and from the unit is initially via Dante® Controller with more detailed configuration performed using the built-in web GUI. The power of this unit lies in the impressive mix engine which overlays the usual Dante® Controller settings. Once Dante® flows have been made, the mix engine allows inputs and outputs to be mixed freely to AoIP or physical inputs and outputs, controlled using the programmable buttons and rotary encoders on the unit.

Glensound – DARK16AO

The DARK16AO provides 16 low noise balanced analogue audio outputs from a Dante network. It features redundant power supplies and a redundant network interface. The DARK16AO is a versatile break out box for receiving analogue audio from a network utilising the Dante® and AES67 audio over IP (AoIP) protocols. In total there are 16 channels of audio being received from the AoIP network and converted via low noise DACs (Digital to Analogue Converters) to balanced analogue outputs. For ease of cabling audio outputs are presented as balanced circuits on Neutrik XLRs. Being designed for resilient broadcast applications the DARK16AO features both redundant power supplies and redundant Dante® network links with link status GPOs (general purpose outputs (solid state relays)). Both primary and secondary network links are provided with both magnetic (copper RJ45) and fibre (SFP) interface connections. The Dante® system itself provides a completely transparent redundant link system which means that if the DARK16AO lost its primary link circuit the secondary link would automatically take over with no loss of audio.

The Dark8ADI provides 8 line level analogue audio inputs and 4 x AES3 (8 audio channels) inputs to your Dante network. Like our other Dark units it has redundant network interfaces and redundant power supplies. The DARK8ADI (Analogue & Digital Input) is a very powerful Dante®/ AES67 network audio interface, in a robust 1RU 19" subrack It has a 8 off low noise analogue line inputs and 4 off transformer balanced AES3 digital audio inputs. These inputs are transmitted on a fully redundant Dante®/ AES67 network interface. In total 16 audio circuits are sent to the Dante®/ AES67 network. Eight of these circuits are always derived from the 4 x AES3 inputs, the other eight are automatically switched between the AES3 and analogue inputs. If the Dark8ADI detects valid AES3 signal on a channel then this will be routed to the network output, if no valid AES3 is detected then the analogue input will be routed to the network output instead of the AES3. The rugged design, redundant mains powering & redundant network facility of the unit means that it can easily be placed and left unattended wherever audio sources are required.
