The AVN-CU4-DANTE is a portable commentator unit. It’s been designed from the ground up to be configurable for different situations with config files that can be saved and recalled for quick setup. Additionally, buttons and rotary encoders can be locked out from use, if the unit is being operated by less-technical commentators. The AVN-CU4-DANTE is a dual version of the AVN-CU2-DANTE providing four mic/line inputs with a wide, adjustable gain range and four stereo headphone outputs with lockable jack sockets, suitable for operation by three or four commentators.

The unit is housed in a compact, rugged steel enclosure that's intended for table-top use. Calling the Model 204 "cute" or "cool" would be accurate; its nicely proportioned but diminutive size makes it ideal for use in space-constrained locations. The Model 204 supports Dante® audio-over-Ethernet digital media technology with AES67 compatibility for integration into contemporary applications. The unit is extremely simple to deploy, is "pro" quality throughout, and provides an intuitive user experience. The Model 204's audio quality is excellent, with low distortion, low noise, and ample headroom. Careful circuit design and rugged components ensure long, reliable operation. The Model 204 integrates directly into both Dante audio-over-Ethernet and standard analog audio environments. With just a Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) connection, a microphone, and a pair of headphones or an earpiece, a complete broadcast on-air position can be created. And by using the Model 204's microphone output a direct connection to an analog microphone-level input on an associated camera, remote I/O interface, or audio console can be supported. Two remote control inputs allow external switches or contact closures to activate the main and talkback button functions. Model 204 operating features are configured using the STcontroller personal computer software application. An extensive set of parameters allows the unit's functions to be tailored to meet the needs of many applications. STcontroller, compatible with version 7 and later of the Windows®operating system, is a fast and simple means of confirming and revising the unit's operating parameters. Applications The Model 204 on its own can provide an "all-Dante" solution for one on-air talent location. A wide range of applications can be supported, including sports and entertainment TV and radio events, streaming broadcasts, corporate and government AV installations, and post-production facilities. The unit's small size makes it ideal for live-sports applications, such as basketball, where physical space for personnel is very limited. Four Dante receiver (audio input) channels supply the user with their talent cue (IFB) signals. Should the cue signal be "mix-minus" an integrated sidetone function can provide the user with a microphone confidence signal. Two Dante audio output channels, one designated as main and the other as talkback, are routed via an associated local-area network (LAN) to inputs on Dante-compatible devices. Two pushbutton switches, main and talkback, provide the user with direct control over audio routing. The audio switching is performed in the digital domain and is virtually "click-free." By providing the main audio signal in two forms, Dante digital audio and analog microphone level, the Model 204 makes integration into a wide range of on-air environments easy to accomplish. The talkback audio channel is available as a Dante output channel which makes routing to an input on a variety of devices, such as matrix intercom systems, audio consoles, and monitor loudspeaker systems, simple and flexible. Some applications may benefit from not utilizing the Model 204's Dante main output channel. This typically won't be an issue of inadequate audio quality but rather a need to match work-flow requirements. For example, for lip-sync or transmission purposes it may be optimal to have the on-air audio transported as an embedded signal along with the associated camera video. Alternately, all on-air audio sources may need to connect to inputs on an audio console or console-related I/O unit. Supporting these scenarios is not a problem as the Model 204 supplies a microphone output connection that’s specifically intended for this purpose. Simply connect the unit's microphone output connection to the desired analog input, such as the mic/line input on an ENG-style camera—that's it! The circuitry associated with the Model 204's analog microphone output is very simple, essentially a passive path that routes a signal connected to the microphone input connector directly to the microphone output connector. A solid-state circuit, in series with the mic in-to-mic out path, allows muting of the signal on the microphone output connector whenever the Dante main output channel is muted. Having both the Dante main output and the microphone outputs work in tandem can be a valuable resource, allowing one to serve as the primary on-air signal source while the other serves as the backup.

The M3 is an ideal audio capture solution for video conferencing, distance learning, courtroom activities, and surgical procedures. It can also be used for ambient room miking and surveillance. The M3 ceiling microphone incorporates three phase coherent hypercardioid capsules with tailored frequency response optimized for speech intelligibility. This is accomplished by minimizing frequencies caused by noise, vibration, paper shuffling, keyboard strokes, fans, and heating /air conditioning. Low noise preamp circuitry is employed for highest possible signal to noise and studio quality sound. A high-quality silicone jacketed microphone cable ensures a balanced, shielded signal and a very clean look. Electronics above the ceiling are housed within a plenum rated junction box and cable connections are made via an RJ45 connector embedded within a proprietary brass housing for an airtight seal. The M3 installed ceiling microphone connects to the input of a mixer or dsp console via a breakout cable (provided). The breakout cable consists of a female RJ45 connector that terminates in either three terminal block or XLR connectors. A variety of optional shielded CAT7 cable lengths (from plenum rated junction box to break out cable) are available. Installing the M3 requires drilling just one 5/8-inch hole in the ceiling, with no additional tools needed. The M3 mounting hardware easily adjusts the cable hanging height up to four feet from the ceiling surface without removing ceiling tiles. A wire safety cable provides additional seismic restraint. A simple switch setting is all it takes to optimize SWP1 series network switches for Dante operation, and a dedicated Windows application provides “network visibility” for comprehensive monitoring and control. The "SWR2311P-10G" is an intelligent L2 switch that provides the ideal functionality for the "Dante" digital audio network that was developed by the Audinate Corporation and is now used world-wide, allowing construction of a stable network that simplifies settings, monitoring, management, and operation. When you connect the VXL1-16P to the SWR2311P-10G, optimal settings for Dante are made automatically via LLDP that is a protocol for passing system management data between a device and its neighboring device. PoE compliant ports can supply a maximum of 30W for all ports simultaneously. It can power not only PoE compliant devices such as the "MCP1" wall-mount controller used for controlling the volume of sound equipment used in conference rooms, or wireless access points, and can also provide ample power for driving even devices that require higher-output PoE such as the VXL1B-16P or VXL1W-16P.

The DCU304 is a Dante enabled Commentary / Announcer unit. It has four inputs, one programme output and three talkback outputs.  The DCU304 is a Dante enabled Commentary / Announcer unit. The unit has four inputs, each selectable to left/right/both ears, one programme microphone output plus three 'lazy' talkback outputs. On pressing a talkback key the programme microphone output will be silently muted and redirected to the selected talkback output(s). The microphone also has a local line level analogue output which also mutes when a talkback key is pressed. Network connection may be either a Neutrik ethercon or a standard RJ45 connector. A LED indicates network status. Microphone gain is adjustable in 1dB steps from +70dB to +15dB and +5dB via the OLED display and lockable push buttons. 48 volt phantom power may also be selected. The DCU304 may be powered PoE or via an external 12 volt power source. The DCU304 can also be used as a cost effective Dante four wire box or as a top quality analogue or Dante mic amp.
