This unit is the best choice if you are not using a subwoofer, though of course adding a StudioLive 18sAI subwoofer will give you even more bottom. Perfect for larger venues and open-air applications, the 315AI provides all the power you’d expect from a 3-way, 15-inch loudspeaker but packed into a 2-way-sized enclosure. The StudioLive 315AI features a 15-inch woofer, along with the same triamped power amplification as the 312AI. The SL-Dante-SPK card houses one Ethercon connection for Dante™ audio networking and remote control via the free SL Room Control application for StudioLive AI-series loudspeakers. Dante-enabled StudioLive AI-series 3-way active loudspeakers allow users to create a complete, networked audio system with any Dante-enabled mixer using a standard 1 GB Ethernet switch and Audinate’s Dante digital-media networking technology, which offers no-hassle, self-configuring, true plug-and-play digital audio networking.
