Microphones for voiceover, continuity, or commentary can be connected to the NIO 0204’s high quality 32-bit mic inputs, with the remaining analog and digital I/O’s connecting to other local sources such as portable or installed media players for local audition or ingest to the central system via the return Dante connection. It is fully compatible with Dante’s unique plug and play network integration with automatic device discovery and system configuration. The Ethernet switch incorporated on DELEC’s Dante board is one of the few on the market which already supports the IEEE 802.1BA AVB standard. Each IF Dante board is equipped with four Ethernet ports.
