Biamp’s new Cambridge Qt X Series is a complete, all-in-one sound masking solution that delivers the flexibility, reliability, and ease of installation that integrators desire. It is engineered to incorporate Biamp’s industry-leading QtPRO™ direct-field and DynasoundPRO™ indirect technologies, making the Qt X ideally suited for office environments that require both system types in a single facility. Qt X is easily interfaced with a building’s life-safety system out of the box, ensuring proper coordination during emergencies.

Additionally, Qt X features built-in support for paging and background music sources. Sources connected to any Qt X controller can be routed to any other networked Qt X controller to be played within zones under its control, making building-wide paging and music distribution flexible and simple.

The series is available in eight models and supports Dante™ and AVB media distribution. Qt X is compatible with existing Qt direct-field and DynasoundPRO indirect emitters. In addition, the new sound masking family seamlessly integrates with Biamp’s extensive portfolio of AV technologies as well as third-party Dante-based devices.

The WING control surface utilizes a large capacitive touchscreen interface with touch-sensitive rotary controls for a new ease of operation. Three separate fader sections and a Custom Controls section can be tailored easily and intuitively to meet your personal requirements. No matter if you need a specific bus send fader next to the corresponding channel fader, or a dedicated “money” channel always at your fingertip, or even sharing the surface with two engineers - WING can be configured to elevate your production to a new level. The MXWAPT is a 8-channel wireless access point compatible with Microflex Wireless microphone systems. It uses automated frequency coordination to assign clean frequencies to wireless microphones and manages two-way wireless transmission of encrypted audio and control signals. Power to the unit (via PoE) and Dante digital networked audio are both supplied over a single Ethernet cable to simplify installation, and the supplied mounting plate and paintable cover allow discreet placement in boardrooms and conference rooms where low visibility is preferred.

The AMP203 is a revolutionary mini stereo amplifier, featuring network input through Dante™ or AES67 providing a complete media networking solution to distribute uncompressed audio via standard Ethernet networks with near-zero latency, while allowing all other data to be connected on the same network.

Various DSP functionalities are implemented in the AMP203. This allows all configurations to be made in AUDAC Touch™ 2 or via RS485 and Ethernet, making it a fully-fletched 2 x 30W amplifier. The output connector has been implemented using a 4-pin terminal block connector, featuring an output power of 30W per channel and 60W when bridged.

Using PoE (Power over Ethernet) this extremely power-efficient amplifier receives both power and signal through a single networking cable, this way flexibility is maximized while needed cabling is kept at a minimum.

The compact convection cooled enclosure eliminates any humm or buzz otherwise caused by a fan. Various optional mounting brackets are available like the MBS1xx series, which allow it to be mounted under a desk, in a closet, on the wall, on top of a dropped ceiling or to a 19" equipment rack. This proves that the AMP203 is the perfect solution for compact to medium-sized applications in corporate, hospitality or retail environments.
