Cadac – CA124

The CA124 beam forming array module combines a comprehensive package in all relevant disciplines without compromise. With the CA124, even at most demanding and complex sound installations can be realized. The combination of mapping optimization and direct array definition is the most comprehensive and powerful loudspeaker management system on the market. The CA124 is a selfpowered 2-way high-end beam forming array loudspeaker, which features 12 x 4" wideband woofers and 36 x 1" dome tweeters. Due to the fully integrated connection hardware, the column can be stacked to realize larger systems with up to 14 meters of acoustic length. With the small source distances, the beamforming capabilities of the column are excellent even at very high frequencies. Internally, one CA124 has 48 amplifier and 48 DSP channels. The CADAC DSP-core module platform is integrated with the amplifier section into the loudspeaker. Cabinets are electrically connected by the CADAC C-Link audio and command interface. The CCP control and prediction software can connect to the array via LAN for command and control, Auto-EQ and to calculate sound prediction on listener areas. With the CMAP (mapping optimization mode), the vertical dispersion can be adjusted and optimized according to the listener area.

Fostex – 6301DT

After over 35 years as the industry standard in active confidence monitoring, the Fostex 6301 has officially entered the networked-audio age with the release of the 6301DT, the world's first ultra-rugged Dante-enabled Fostex monitor. With the same physical dimensions as the current 6301N, the 6301DT finally answers the challenge of how to quickly and easily set up a portable or fixed monitoring solution on a Dante network. Broadcast facilities, studio, conference rooms, houses of worship, medical centers, theatres, and installations of all types can now benefit from the rock-solid and trusted tool of audio professionals everywhere.

Main Features

• 20W Class-D power amplifier for higher output level and less power consumption.

• Dedicated 4-inch full range driver for clear audio reproduction.

• RJ45 Dante & 1/4” TS analog inputs.

• Supports sample rates up to 96kHz via Audinate’s Ultimo chip.

• Two channels of monitoring in one monitor: acts as a two-channel device on the Dante network, with a switch on the back panel to select channel 1, 2 or 1+2 (mixed) for output.

• Ultra-rugged die-cast aluminum enclosure.

• Recessed front-panel knob, switch & speaker grille to prevent inadvertent damage in case of a fall.

• Switching power supply accepts 100 V to 240 V AC.

• Physical dimensions identical to the rest of the 6301N series for easy upgrade.

• Optional EB-6301 mounting bracket allows easy surface-mounting at any angle.

K-array – KMT218

KMT218 is much more than a standard dual 18" powered subwoofer. The amplifier mounted on board is Class D, delivering 2 x 2399 W at 4 Ohm. KMT218 is much more than a standard dual 18" powered subwoofer. The amplifier mounted on board is Class D, delivering 2 x 2399 W at 4 Ohm. All DSP functions, including EQ can be controlled with remote managing software via USB or RS485 on a standard XLR. To optimize performance, the onboard DSP includes presets to drive K-array speakers. The rear panel provides input for a balanced line signal, a balanced microphone signal with phantom power and digital signals in AES/EBU protocol and also on an XLR for ease of cabling.
