Connect via Cat6 cable to a PoE+ network switch, plug in your headphones/speakers, route channels, and start making music. Mixer: Control volume, panning, and stereo width of 64 Dante audio channels, with channel names on crisp OLED displays. Local inputs mix in at zero-latency. The mix is fed through a master volume control and output to a balanced stereo pair and two headphone jacks. Interface: Local inputs include XLR microphone input with switchable phantom power, high-impedance instrument input with adjustable gain, and two balanced line-level inputs. Route these and the main stereo mix to other devices on the Dante network. Unmuting four default-muted Dante channels provides intercom. MIDI control: MIDI shares the same network connection as Dante to send/receive CCs. Knobs can control software and external hardware.

The M8RX is a personal interface to be used for live sound or recording, and also a multi-channel headphone monitoring system. While compact in size, the M8RX gives individuals options to use it in multiple ways, such as a mini recording studio setup or a simple communication system. The research and design of the M8RX is what sets it apart. Our engineers created the sleek look and feel making it perfect for hanging from a belt, mounting on a mic stand, or sitting on a table. The M8RX features a total of eight channels of audio mixing – two studio-quality microphone preamps, two channel line-inputs, and four Dante network audio inputs/outputs. The M8RX’s two mic preamps have a distortion spec below 0.001% along with zero-latency analog mixing and monitoring of the four analog inputs. With Ethernet capability becoming standard in most pro audio gear today, the M8RX includes a total of four channels of Dante network audio inputs/outputs. Along with the same high quality headphone amplifier as in the Hear Back PRO and OCTO systems, the M8RX has 5 watts of headphone power and can be connected to a computer via the Ethernet port. The unit uses PoE power over the same Cat5e cable as the Ethernet. The M8RX is manufactured in the U.S. to ensure our customers get the quality they have come to expect from Hear Technologies.

The modular Hub consists of four card slots, which can be populated with any configuration of input and/or output cards to fit your exact needs. Each Hub has the ability to supply signal and power to as many as 32 Mixers (8 per Network Card), each over a single standard CAT5e/6 cable. And with the built-in HBus In/Out ports, multiple Hubs can be daisy-chained together, allowing for truly unlimited system expansion. The standard Hub (included in the “4-pack”) comes pre-loaded with one Network Card and two 8-channel Analog Input Cards which can accept input signals from an audio mixer via auxiliary, matrix, monitor, and/or direct outputs.
