DSS Series is a new generation of digital stage boxes also called “Digital Snake Systems” in comparison with the old analog multicore cables used in live applications. Audio transport uses DANTE protocol providing low latency and audio quality in any environment. Using inexpensive Cat 5e cable the signal path can be transported up to a distance of 100 meters without drop-outs. DSS-404 features 4 x IN/ 4 x OUT. It is equipped with a Dante module providing the redundancy of the signal in case of trouble.
