The suite of features that are available with the Optimod-FM 8700i include Orban’s MX distortion-canceling peak limiter; digital MPX; subharmonic synthesis and phase skew correction; a controls for stereo enhancement, multipath reduction, HF enhancement, EQ, AGC, multiband compression, stereo encoding, low-IM peak limiting and composite limiting; full function RDS/RBDS with PS scrolling; ratings processor loop-through; and an automated dayparting with an NTP-reference real-time clock. SNMP features allow for monitoring of status and sending of alarm notifications to a network via an Ethernet connection.
