Glensound – VIRGIL OB

The Virgil OB is a robust portable PoE powered headphone amplifier with the addition of a pair of balanced analogue outputs all built into a hardwearing lightweight aluminium case. Long Product Description (150 words or less): Virgil OB receives 2 x audio circuits from a Dante network and routes one to the left and the other to the right channel of the headphone amplifier. A front panel volume control allows the user to adjust the output volume of the headphones. The 2 incoming audio circuits are also presented on a pair of balanced analogue audio XLRs on the rear of the unit. A switch on the side of the unit sets these 2 outputs to be post or pre fade of the front panel level control. The Virgil OB is housed in a robust but lightweight aluminium casing that has been proven to withstand the rigours of life on the road. It also features a hardwearing beltclip allowing the unit to be quickly and securely attached to both people and infrastructure. As well as being suitable for low & high impedance headphones our unique headphone amplifier circuit can be connected to both stereo headphones & mono earpieces, making the Virgil OB suitable for driving television presenters ear pieces.

The Studer OnAir 3000 further extends Studer’s range of digital broadcast consoles with a completely new design aimed at the medium to upper segment of the radio market including private and public network broadcast stations. The Studer OnAir 3000 further extends Studer’s range of digital broadcast consoles with a completely new design aimed at the medium to upper segment of the radio market including private and public network broadcast stations. The operating concept of the OnAir 3000 will be totally familiar to Studer users, as the wide range of compact and elegant control surface modules incorporates the same patented “Touch-n-Action” philosophy as the highly successful Studer OnAir 2000, using colour GUI screens. The OnAir 3000 design is based on a completely modular desk and a new DSP engine. The fader module includes six fader strips, and up to eight fader modules may be fitted, giving a maximum console size of 48 faders. Layout options range from a highly comprehensive engineer-operated continuity console to a single fader panel for DJ and newsroom use or even a PC-operated system with no physical desk controls. The console has three main stereo mix buses plus an audition facility, four stereo AUX buses, 16 mix-minus sends configurable as AUXes, and three independent studio monitoring circuits and offers full dynamics, EQ and input/output routing in each channel.
