The es-269 compact ACM subwoofer system redefines small subwoofer capabilities by producing high output exceptionally high-quality sound from a very compact dual driver system.  The es-269 compact ACM subwoofer system redefines small subwoofer capabilities by producing high output exceptionally high-quality sound from a very compact dual driver system. With reference quality flat low-end response from 200 to 45 Hz, the es-269 is capable of output levels of systems typically twice the size. The es-269 apples VUE’s patent-pending ACM -Active Compliance Management- technology from the hm-class subwoofers, to a new compact even “mini” subwoofer breaking the normal size ratio to SPL output standards. ACM technology combines both band-pass and vented alignments into a single enclosure. The s-269 places two high performance, 6×9-inch transducers into this configuration, with both woofers sharing a common vented chamber. One woofer’s frontal radiation is direct, while the second woofer’s frontal radiation drives the band-pass chamber. Using sophisticated DSP the two ACM subsections combine acoustically precisely aligning the phase arrivals of the front facing woofer, the common chamber vent, and output of the bandpass chamber vent. The powerful amplifier sends 200W of pure sine wave power (350W “burst”) with a unique optimized signal to each woofer. The combination of 700 watts of burst power produces over 124 dB peak output in a half space environment (ground stacked). The combination of ACM, precision-engineered transducers, and sophisticated electronics allows the s-269 to deliver much higher output throughout its operating bandwidth from a remarkably small enclosure. The X606 beam forming array module combines a comprehensive package in all relevant disciplines without compromise. With the X606, even at most demanding and complex sound installations can be realized. The combination of mapping optimization and direct array definition is the most comprehensive and powerful loudspeaker management system on the market. The X606 is a self-powered 3-
way high-end beam forming array loudspeaker, which features 6 x 6.5" ported woofers for LF, 12 x 3.5" woofers for the MF and 24 x 1" dome tweeters for the HF. The X606 can be used as single cabinet with programmable vertical dispersion (point source functionality) and as beamforming array for fixed installation as well as for mobile applications. If one X606 is combined with one X606-CARDIOD cabinet, the system will have cardioid dispersion for the LF range. The array is used as straight line in most applications as the coverage on listener areas is adjusted by beamforming. Due to the fully integrated connection hardware, the column can be stacked to realize larger systems with up to 10 meters of acoustic length. With the small source distances, the beamforming capabilities of the column are excellent even at very high frequencies. Internally, one X606 has 42 amplifier and 42 DSP channels. The CADAC DSP-core module platform is integrated with the amplifier section into the loudspeaker. Cabinets are electrically connected by the CADAC C-Link audio and command interface. The CCP control and prediction software can connect to the array via LAN for command and control, Auto-EQ and to calculate sound prediction on listener areas. With the CMAP (mapping optimization mode), the vertical dispersion can be adjusted and optimized according to the listener area.
