The d&b DS100 Signal Engine is a specialized rack-mount 3 RU audio processor with Audinate Dante networking. It provides a 64 x 64 audio matrix with level and delay adjustments at all cross points.The comprehensive input processing provides gain, EQ, delay, and polarity switches, enabling the user to combine all types of input signals to create a mix from a wide variety of sources. Extended processing capabilities are also provided on every output. Two optional software modules provide dynamic object-based positioning and emulated acoustics functions.

d&b En-Scene extends the basic matrix function of the DS100 with an object-based positioning tool for every input. In addition to the possibility of independent positioning and moving up to 64 sound objects, an algorithm-based control of up to 64 loudspeakers is provided, based on the loudspeaker positions and their assignment to function groups.Loudspeaker positions used for En-Scene can be used with the static matrix at the same time.
d&b En-Space is the Soundscape software module to enhance or build an acoustic environment, either indoor or outdoor, based on convolution of the audio signals on a large number of impulse responses captured in acoustically renowned performance spaces ranging from chamber recital to large concert halls.
All this can be configured and controlled via ArrayCalc and R1 within the d&b Workflow.
