OMNI 256P

The BSS Soundweb OMNI 256p Open Architecture Digital Signal Processor is the most powerful enterprise-grade processor ever developed by BSS. With processing capability that surpasses previous BSS products, the all-new design ensures the seamless handling of today’s most complex installations to be future-ready to meet the evolving needs of tomorrow. The 256p features 256x256 at up to 96kHz Dante/AES67 networked audio channels; enterprise-grade network security support; an onboard scripting engine developed by AMX; 24/48kHz and 24/96kHz supported bit depth/sample rates; 8 GPIO ports (fully flexible); 80 AEC channels; 32 VoIP lines; high precision word clock and BNC clock (in/out); dual redundant power supplies, Dante and HControl; 128 channel internal media player with 500GB SSD; full-color, interactive front panel LCD; and more. Every GPIO port is format (analog or digital) and directionally (input or output) configurable. Any channel can also be configured to function as a digital binary, to provide 0 or 5 volts, or configured to receive or send any voltage between 0 and 12 volts. The Soundweb OMNI family also includes two I/O Expanders, the 32e and 16e, which provide unparalleled I/O flexibility as needed. The integrated 128 channel internal media player facilitates the playback of pre-recorded audio files directly from an internal 500GB SSD. This is useful for announcements, paging chimes, advertisements, background soundscapes, and more. Supporting up to 80 AEC channels and 32 VoIP lines, the 256p provides seamless integration capability with building phone systems to ensure efficient and reliable communication. The onboard scripting engine allows previous generation BSS Soundweb Contrio EC wall controller devices to control new Soundweb OMNI devices, while also allowing new AVX software to integrate previous generation BSS Soundweb London DSPs and Crown DCi amplifiers into a unified custom UI, directly alongside Soundweb OMNI. With support for centralized or distributed DSP topologies, system integrators can add as many Soundweb OMNI processors to a single project file as needed, while still enjoying the simplicity of a single canvas for device configuration. HARMAN's HControl protocol, a human-readable, standards-based, developer-friendly API is also supported. It offers an intuitive, flexible, and powerful alternative to other protocols to support developers working at any scale. Soundweb OMNI systems are configured, controlled, and monitored with the AVX software suite through two user-friendly applications. AVX Architect is a desktop app for system diagramming, device configuration, network management, and custom UI design. An unlimited number of processors and expanders can be added to a single project file. AVX Control is a lightweight app offering easy access to custom UIs for controlling and monitoring Soundweb OMNI devices, via Windows, iOS, macOS, Android, and AMX Varia touch panels. These custom UIs also work with Crown DCi amplifiers and previous generation Soundweb London devices. Built on decades of innovation, BSS Soundweb OMNI is a highly scalable and flexible DSP solution. Combining powerful hardware, intuitive software, and developer-friendly features, it effortlessly scales to meet the needs of any installed application. Experience BSS Soundweb OMNI, the new standard in open architecture DSP.

Q-SYS Core Nano

Introducing the Q-SYS Core 8 Flex and Q-SYS Core Nano audio, video and control (AV&C) processors by QSC, which extend the applications of the Q-SYS Ecosystem into a wider range of smaller-scale installations across corporate, higher education, healthcare and beyond. Built on the same foundational technology as the rest of the Q-SYS processor portfolio including the best-in-class Q-SYS Core 110f, these processors are designed for applications with lower network channel capacity and/or targeted processing requirements.

Core 8 Flex offers onboard analog audio I/O PLUS network AV&C processing, while Core Nano offers a purely network AV&C processing (and addresses the wide-spread adoption of network peripherals and centralized topology). Both processors can process and route up to 64x64 network channels and include 8 x 8 channels of software-based Dante (with the option to license up 32 x 32 Dante channels.)
