WorxAudio – TrueLine X1M

The X1M-P is a two-way, high efficiency, line array loudspeaker. It is designed as an ultra compact high performance system for the reproduction of speech and music program material.  The X1M-P is a two-way, high efficiency, line array loudspeaker. It is designed as an ultra compact high performance system for the reproduction of speech and music program material. The X1M-P incorporates a medium format 1″ exit compression driver coupled to a stabilized proprietary FlatWave Former that delivers clear but penetrating high frequencies over a predictable and controlled coverage area. Dual 8″ cone transducers coupled to the (A.I.M.) Acoustic Intergrading Module minimizing cone filtering throughout the entire operating range. A sturdy multi-ply plywood enclosure, with a multi-layered catalyzed polyurethane finish, will withstand the most demanding portable applications. A perforated, powder coated steel grill with a high transmission ratio offers excellent protective properties. The custom designed flyware enables the user to easily array the system to the precise desired coverage area. The X1M-P is available in dark black or white exterior. The X1M-P excels in a myriad of diverse applications requiring a compact line array enclosure. Superior workmanship and transparent sonic quality make the X1M-P an exceptional tool for any speaker system.

Tannoy – QFlex 16

The QFlex 16 can be used as a standalone self-powered column array device for both speech and limited BGM applications in smaller spaces, where high intelligibility and minimal visual impact are driving concerns.  QFlex is a range of digitally steerable, multi-channel, array speaker systems for the professional install market. QFlex is designed as a complete solution for applications with difficult acoustics, such as houses of worship, transportation hubs, convention centres, conference facilities, shopping malls, performing arts centres and museums. The QFlex 16 can be used as a standalone self-powered column array device for both speech and limited BGM applications in smaller spaces, where high intelligibility and minimal visual impact are driving concerns.  QFlex is quite revolutionary in that it is able to achieve even coverage and SPL which is maintained across the listening plane. QFlex is able to create an asymmetrical pattern which allows similar SPLs both in the near and far field. It is able to steer the beam away from surfaces that cause reflections to frequencies beyond 12 kHz, making it the first digitally steerable array to maintain music quality over the desired area of coverage, all in a very architecturally pleasing package. The intuitive BeamEngine GUI allows the designer to specify target areas. Based on those target areas a steering algorithm is generated and tailored for that specific area, rather than having to choose from a limited palette of opening and steering angles. New features introduced on QFlex deliver more resolute safety and monitoring facilities, making it fully compliant in any life safety or mass notification environment. In addition QFlex has been weatherised for outdoor or harsh environments without compromising on the product’s sleek aesthetic, making it perfectly suited for large scale transport hub applications such as within airport terminals and major train stations. Among the key improvements on this front are the addition of Pilot Tone Detection capability, Sentinel SM1 System Monitor and certification to IP53 standards.

K-array – KMT18 Mark I

The K-array KMT18 I is a powered 18” subwoofers, with a programmable on-board DSP and multiple analog and digital inputs and outputs for creating a wide array of speaker configurations. The K-array KMT18 I is a powered 18” subwoofers, with a programmable on-board DSP and multiple analog and digital inputs and outputs for creating a wide array of speaker configurations. The amplifier mounted on board is class D, delivering 2 x 1000 W at 8 Ω. The KMT18 I features an integrated touch screen, providing intuitive control over the main DSP functions: input/output levels, signal routing, offset delays for subwoofer and speakon output (up to 12 ms) and overall system delay (up to 330 ms). All DSP functions, including EQ, can also be remote controlled via software over USB or RS485 (3-pin XLR). The KMT series provides two balanced analog line level inputs and a two-channel AES/EBU digital input. An integrated class D amplifier delivers 2 x 1000 W at 8 Ω, with a max THD of 1% (EIAJ test @ 1kHz). The KMT18 I features multiple analog and digital outputs, including a Speakon output to connect a wide array of passive speakers including mid-high models (KK52, KK102) or additional passive subwoofers (KMT18P). To optimize performance, the on-board DSP includes up to 40 programmable presets. The unique four-corner port configuration provides symmetrical back loading to the speakers, for extended bass response with very low distortion. The port configuration also provides incredible structural strength to the cabinet, despite its light weight. Pocket handles and an M20 thread mount position for attaching mid-high speakers makes the subwoofer convenient to use and ideal for medium throw applications in theaters, concert halls, and Audio/Video installation
