Amate Audio – X102FD

The X102FD has been developed to offer a powerful and highly efficient point source alternative to line arrays, in medium and smaller size application environments. Capable of power and performance far in excess of its compact form, the V-shaped geometry cabinet, features a symmetrical dual 10” LF driver arrangement with a 3″ titanium diaphragm, 1.4″neodymium HF driver and aluminium rotatable horn. With an Active+ integrated power and DSP control platform producing 3000 W of 2-way amplification, the X102FD is capable of 136 dB SPL continuous output.

The X102FD is able to be deployed in both vertically and horizontally, due to its rotatable horn with a simple ‘no tools required’ pull, turn and release mechanism. In vertical FOH applications the horn provides (HxV) 80 x 60 dispersion (in its default position). In the horizontal plane – for applications such as front-fills within a large-scale line array system, or close to ceiling hanging in an auditorium – quick rotation of the horn maintains (HxV) 80 x 60 dispersion. Likewise, (HxV) 60 x 80 coverage can be obtained in either plane.

Unique to Active+ is the rear-mounted rapid operation 3.5” TFT colour touchscreen GUI that provides for system configuration of individual cabinets prior to stacking or rigging. This combines user-configurable system management parameters and powerful R&D developed application-specific system pre-sets that provide for near-instantaneous setup of the most common cabinet configurations in the most regularly encountered applications. Remote Ethernet or wi-fi control is enabled via Amate Audio’s DSPStudio™ application. Active+ also provides Dante™ audio networking on the X102FD, via the two rear-panel Ethernet ports.

AVE – Ascolto LH0825

The digitally controlled line arrays Ascolto® are equipped with high-quality 2,5” neodymium loudspeakers, capable to spread perfectly voice as well as sound instruments. They can handle higher power applications, delivering great tone at any volume levels.

Each Ascolto® digital line array contains a set of custom-designed, fully-programmable 135-MHz, 48-bit DSPs where high precision 76-bit accumulators ensure the bit resolution for a total quality in digital audio processing such as beam filtering and audio equalization.

The Ascolto LH0825 is unique for its acoustic directivity, extremely selective and capable of reaching deep space. The Ascolto LH0825 is particularly suitable to ensure an extended coverage in large environments, where it needs simultaneously a very incisive beam and a bright tone.

The Ascolto LH0825 possesses the innovative Anti Reverberation System ARS®, capable of increasing the voice intelligibility in reverberant environments. AVE Line Array User Control® is a sophisticated software application that uses a complex proprietary algorithm to calculate accurately SPL distribution of Ascolto® Digital Line Arrays from their EASE® models. It allows the user to select the appropriate dispersion pattern and transfer aiming and filtering parameters to the digital line array through the dedicated network.

The AVE IRC Infrared Remote Control lets you control the configuration settings even if a host computer is not available.

The LH0825ist optionally available with Dante card. Thus the LH0825 can be integrated in an existing speaker system or in a Dante network.

Cadac – CA124

The CA124 beam forming array module combines a comprehensive package in all relevant disciplines without compromise. With the CA124, even at most demanding and complex sound installations can be realized. The combination of mapping optimization and direct array definition is the most comprehensive and powerful loudspeaker management system on the market. The CA124 is a selfpowered 2-way high-end beam forming array loudspeaker, which features 12 x 4" wideband woofers and 36 x 1" dome tweeters. Due to the fully integrated connection hardware, the column can be stacked to realize larger systems with up to 14 meters of acoustic length. With the small source distances, the beamforming capabilities of the column are excellent even at very high frequencies. Internally, one CA124 has 48 amplifier and 48 DSP channels. The CADAC DSP-core module platform is integrated with the amplifier section into the loudspeaker. Cabinets are electrically connected by the CADAC C-Link audio and command interface. The CCP control and prediction software can connect to the array via LAN for command and control, Auto-EQ and to calculate sound prediction on listener areas. With the CMAP (mapping optimization mode), the vertical dispersion can be adjusted and optimized according to the listener area.
