It can be used for applications where several audio channels have to be transmitted over great distances and to different areas or locations. The fields of application include schools, office buildings, fitness centres, shops and restaurants. Digital transmission provides several advantages over analogue transmission. Even in case of greater distances, the signal features a comparably low susceptibility to interference and analogue audio transmissions also require a higher cable quality. In comparison with other Audio over Ethernet applications, e.g. CobraNet or EtherSound, Dante™ can support gigabit applications with several channels, features a lower latency and automatic configuration. The power for WALL-05DT is supplied via PoE (Power over Ethernet) or via a 12 V power supply which is available at option. Furthermore, the integrated DSP module can be controlled via app which provides the most important functions like master volume control and controls for treble, midrange and bass.

This outstanding loudspeaker incorporate a medium format 1-inch exit compression driver coupled to a stabilized, proprietary FlatWave™ Former (wave shaping device) that delivers clear, penetrating high frequencies over a predictable and controlled coverage area. Dual 5-inch cone transducers coupled to the Acoustic Intergrading Module (A.I.M.) minimize cone filtering throughout the entire operating range. Collectively, this system deliver a rich, fully balanced sound that must be heard to be appreciated. Of particular note, the new WorxAudio V5M has a 120-degree symmetrical horizontal coverage pattern and a 30-degree vertical dispersion pattern. This arrangement facilitates consistent sound quality both on- and off-axis—resulting in dramatically improved speech intelligibility and music reproduction—making them a terrific choice for both monitor and fill usage. Built to withstand the most demanding applications, the V5M’s enclosure is constructed from sturdy multi-ply Baltic Birch and is heavily braced for cabinet rigidity, yet it weighs only thirty pounds. Protecting the enclosure is a multi-layered, polyurea finish that is available in black or white. A 16-guage, perforated, cloth-backed, powder coated steel grill with a high transmission ratio protects the transducer complement.
