The Gateway is a DSP-based IP codec which can transport 16 channels across the public internet and any QoS-enabled IP network. It can route compressed and uncompressed IP audio streams throughout the broadcast plant with native support for AES67, ST 2110-30, ST 2022-7, RAVENNA, Livewire+, AMWA NMOS IS-04 and IS-05, Ember+, AES3 and analog I/O as standard. An optional Dante or WheatNet-IP card is also available. This facilitates acting as a media converter to simplify audio routing between a range of equipment using proprietary AoIP protocols like WheatNet-IP, Dante and Livewire, plus devices supporting RAVENNA, AES67 and ST 2110-30. It supports 16 full-duplex audio channels as well as multiple unicasting to 80 endpoints and multicasting. Transport of phase-locked multichannel audio in 5.1 or 7.1 formats is also supported.
