Rupert Neve Designs – RMP-D8

The massive weight & tone of classic Rupert Neve Designs studio microphone preamps: now available for the stage. With mastering-grade 24-bit 192kHz converters and full Dante integration, the RMP-D8 finally offers the live sound world something that studios have always coveted: the sound of Rupert Neve Designs. The heart of the RMP-D8 lies in the modular mic preamp cards. Unlike other designs that rely primarily on a single IC for gain & tone, each channel on the RMP-D8 has a fully-realized class-A microphone preamplifier feeding a custom-built Rupert Neve Designs transformer. Coupled with 24-bit/192kHz converters with precision-controlled internal clocking and enhanced jitter reduction, there is no weak link in the audio path, thus maintaining the high standards of Rupert Neve Designs' standalone preamplifiers. From concert halls to arenas, clubs, studios, houses of worship, and educational facilities, the RMP-D8 brings the classic sound of Rupert Neve Designs into the Dante-connected world.

Glensound – Symphony

Glensound's Symphony audio monitoring and microphone amplifier was originally designed to meet one of our customers requirements. They had been using a similar analogue monitoring system for many years and when they updated their production mixer to a Dante enabled desk they naturally wanted to encompass and embrace the advantages of the network audio system to include their monitoring and musical instrument pre amplifiers. The shape and feature set of the Symphony came from the customer's many years of experience from within the orchestral music industry. The simple controls for the musicians, the microphone amplifier setup hidden away from the musicians, the ability to mount the Symphony on a microphone stand and a clean blank audience facing side of the box were all key required features. Being a high caliber audio environment naturally the microphone amplifiers and monitoring circuits had to be the best available, which was made possible because of our many years of experience in broadcast audio. Studio Technologies – Model 5418 Mic/Line Interface

The Model 5418 Mic/Line Interface provides a simple yet high-performance means of interfacing analog signals with applications that utilize Dante® audio-over-Ethernet media networking technology. The Model 5418 Mic/Line Interface provides a simple yet high-performance means of interfacing analog signals with applications that utilize Dante® audio-over-Ethernet media networking technology. Eight analog microphone- or line-level sources can be connected to the unit and then output in the digital domain by way of a Dante interface. Eight digital audio signals, which arrive by way of Dante, are converted to analog and then output as balanced line-level signals. Configuration choices also allow other audio signals to be selected as the sources for the analog output channels. A monitor section allows the input and output signals to be selectively observed using meters and a headphone output. Key Features
  • Dante audio-over-Ethernet technology
  • Eight mic/line inputs to Dante outputs
  • Eight Dante inputs to line-level analog outputs
  • Flexible monitoring with metering and headphone output
  • Three Gigabit Ethernet interfaces
  • Standard connectors
  • Excellent audio quality
  • AC mains and 12 volt DC powering
  • Lightweight enclosure, single rack-space (1U) mounting
