The IPD-SM500i-II is a 5.25-inch coaxial surface-mount speaker with BroadBeam waveguide technology, biamplified.
The IPD-SM500i-II incorporates a 5.25-inch (133 mm) polypropylene woofer and 1-inch (25 mm) convex titanium tweeter, with SoundTube’s patented BroadBeam waveguide technology for broad, even dispersion of high frequencies. The speaker enclosure is constructed of injection-molded, glass-reinforced ABS with a powder-coated aluminum grille and features SoundTube’s proprietary Stealth mounting system that allows for tool-free horizontal and vertical aiming, while keeping the speaker close to the wall. A safety cable with speaker mounting bolt, Euroblock connector, wall mount bracket and terminal weather boot are included with each speaker. This 40-watt bi-amplified speaker includes DSP and Dante for audio distribution and report-back on speaker condition.
