CTP Systems – DDM888

The DDM888 is a 1RU Dante enabled stereo monitor unit with two high/midrange speakers and a single bass driver for quality monitoring. The unit can access sixteen stereo Dante inputs, eight stereo analogue inputs, eight balanced AES inputs and eight stereo SDI audio channels. There is also a programmable preset button for monitoring frequently used combinations. The unit includes a stereo meter which may be selected to analogue PPM style metering with phase indication or bargraph. There is an SDI output as well as a stereo analogue output for external monitoring or metering. The network connections include a selectable redundant or switch secondary.

All inputs include level controls for normalising the input levels if required. Additionally, inputs may be individually delayed by up to eight frames.

The DDM888 includes a webserver GUI for easy setup and selection.

Power may be PoE or Mains.

Renegade Labs – M3G-XT

The new M3G-XT allows for SDI audio monitoring and adds the ability to also monitor additional audio sources including Dante™/AES67 Networked Audio, SDI, Analog (Mic/Line) or Digital inputs. The M3G-XT allows for easy multi-channel audio monitoring—such as surround sound or multiple-language dialog tracks—to external monitor speakers. With the ability to accept the complete range of Renegade I/O modules the M3G-XT can be configured for nearly any monitoring application. Add a Dante™/AES67 Networked Audio module and the M3G-XT can monitor both networked audio and the incoming SDI signal while simultaneously sourcing the SDI audio on the Dante™ network. Alternatively, add the new 3G/HD/SD dual-SDI module and gain the ability to monitor up to three SDI sources in one compact solution. The M3G-XT also provides the ability for additional outputs to be added, for example, an AES output module to be added to drive digital monitors or external meters. The M3G-XT de-embeds the audio from any ancillary audio group present in a SMPTE SD/HD/3G SDI video stream. Up to eight channels of audio from any two groups may be monitored efficiently using the front panel, the remote GUI or automation API. An input select switch allows for monitoring of the SDI or the optional input module.

Equipped with high-grade 7“ or 9“ touch screens and an easy-to-use GUI, TouchMonitor enters a new level of professional audio metering in terms of precision, performance, efficiency and flexibility. Simple and flexible The graphical user interface used in the TouchMonitor TM9 is controlled simply by using your finger or a mouse. Instruments can be scaled, randomly positioned and combined in almost every way for optimized use of available screen space. Even multiple instruments of the same type, assigned to different input channels and configurations, can be displayed simultaneously. Plus, a context-sensitive, on-screen help feature supports the user, allowing him to make setup changes with ease.  Expanded basic software and instruments The latest firmware version expands the basic software to 4-channel display, 4 x Mono, 2 x Stereo, 2 x Mono and 1 x Stereo can be measured without the need of an activated Multichannel licence. RTA provides a 1/12-octave mode, Cinema Loudness standards (LEQ(M), TASA, SAWA) have been implemented, and the Audio Vectorscope instrument allows up to 4 instances. The output routing can individually be adjusted for each preset, all presets can be exported or imported at the same time.
