Dante Controller v4.18 package is a recommended maintenance release with many minor fixes and improvements.
The installer includes 4 applications: Dante Controller v4.18.0, Dante Updater v2.9.0, Dante Activator v2.7.2 and Dante Update Helper v1.5.0.

Note: Dante Controller requires 64-bit capable hardware.
Notes
Installing or Updating Dante Controller
To install Dante Controller you will need to be logged on with administrator privileges.
Note: You do not need to uninstall the previous version before installing this update.
To install Dante Controller:
- Ensure you are logged on to your computer as an administrator.
- Navigate to and double-click the downloaded Dante Controller installer file.
- Read the license agreement. If you agree to the terms, select the ‘I agree’ checkbox and click Install.
- If you do not agree to the terms, click Close.
- Confirm / acknowledge any Windows security prompts that are displayed.

- Channel labels longer than 32 characters are now truncated when pasted instead of being rejected

Dante Controller v4.18.0
- CS-1754: Multicast flows cannot be created on certain resolution monitors
- CS-1838 / ETS-5954: Closing a remote desktop session can cause DC to crash
- CS-2055: Unplugged devices may still show link speed warnings
- CS-2075: Field validation for IP address sometimes fails

Audinate’s Support for Inclusive Language
To our customers: some of the terminology used in Dante products has been changed to align with modern usage. Specifically, areas related to Dante clocking now refer to “Primary Leader Clock”, “Leader Clocks” and “Follower Clocks” to describe the functions of each role more clearly.
