Glensound – Beatrice B4+

The Beatrice B4+ is Glensound's first Broadway design unit, with 4 x FW & 4 x IFBs to the Dante/AES67 Network. The B4+ can interfacewith 4 completely separate network locations.

The deisgn of the B4+ is ultra compact to make the unit as unobtrusive to the operator as possible.

The microphone input is on a 3 pin XLR and features gain adjust and 48V phantom power. The XLR connector can be specified with 4 or 5 pins for headset connections.

Four separate talk buttons route the microphone input to either of the 4 network outputs. The button operation can be configured as momentary, latching or intelligent. A double tap on any of the talk buttons will produce a 'call' signal alert that will be received by another Beatrice unit. An LED indicates an incoming call alert, which will also produce an audio indication on the headphones.

Each input has a separate level control adjust and a signal present indicator.

Size matters, so we spent a long time making sure the B1 is as small and lightweight as possible without compromising durability. The Glensound BEATRICE B1 is an ultra-compact, robust, portable single channel beltpack intercom designed for broadcast, theatre and professional audio applications. This small beltpack was designed to be very easy to use for the operator and simple to setup for the technician. It includes all the basic functionality required for small intercom systems and none of the overly complex installation requirements normally associated with large systems. Being part of our Beatrice range it includes standard features such as being powered by PoE for simple setup, a Call Facility for getting other users attention, LED presence indicators to help identify who is talking, Crystal Clear audio, IFB looping facility and no central matrix. It also has a GPI for external triggering of the talk switch making it ideal for camera operators.

Clear-Com – Eclipse HX-Omega

Eclipse HX-Omega is the most advanced and highest density digital matrix system on the market, offering up to 460 ports (using combinations of 64-channel MADI cards, 32 port IP/Integra cards and 16 port MVX-A16 RJ-45 cards) over 15 interface card slots in a 6RU chassis.   Eclipse HX-Omega is the most advanced and highest density digital matrix system on the market, offering up to 512 ports (with any combination of 64 frames). Each 6RU Eclipse HX-Omega system features 15 interface card slots for housing one of many types of interface cards available for different applications. The MVX-A16 Interface card, for example, provides full-duplex connections with panels, external lines, and interfaces to other matrix systems. External interface modules are connected using external 1RU and 3RU IMF frames, leaving all 15 slots available for port and interface cards. Up to 64 Eclipse HX matrices can be connected to form a single networked installation.
