Adam Hall – LD Systems DQOR SUB 8 D

Part of the DQOR® series, the DQOR® SUB 8 D is a powered installation indoor/outdoor subwoofer with an 8" woofer and a 10" passive radiator. With a built in Dante audio connection, it easily connects to any networked audio system and is AES67 compliant for compatibility with thousands of audio devices.

Designed for high performance in a compact form factor, it delivers powerful bass audio with no need for separate amplifier racks.

Uniquely the DQOR® SUB 8 D is the only outdoor rated Dante sub bass loudspeaker available.

The clean and low-profile design ensures the DQOR® SUB 8 D is a sleek addition to any room, combining aesthetics with powerful audio performance. Rated at 190 W RMS and max power of 230 W, it delivers impressive sound quality at up to 108 dB SPL with low frequency extension down to 37 Hz.

The DQOR® SUB 8 D has rubber feet for floor mounting, or it can be easily installed with the optional surface mount bracket, which includes flexible mounting options, holes for clean cable management, locking screws, a safety-locking mechanism, and a hinge mechanism for quick setup.

AC inputs are connected with a 3-pole phoenix contact terminal block with lever push-in connector for reliable and safe connection of the power cables. Terminal block connectors allow for remote standby control. 

The DQOR® SUB 8 D can be used in a wide variety of applications both inside and outside including hospitality, retail, entertainment, or corporate settings.

It is available in black or white (RAL9005 & RAL9016).

Glensound – VIRGIL

Packaged in a small & robust format and designed to be permanently mounted in studios wherever a headphone circuit is required, the Virgil provides a simple interface between Dante network audio systems and users headphones. Virgil was the Roman poet who guided Dante through Hell and Purgatory, the Glensound Virgil is a clever little headphone amplifier for providing crystal clear audio into studio & broadcast headphones. Packaged in a small & robust format and designed to be permanently mounted in studios wherever a headphone circuit is required, the Virgil provides a simple interface between Dante network audio systems and users headphones. The Virgil encompasses our unique headphone amplifier circuit which automatically provides the correct output level to match the impedance of the attached headphones (to produce the same volume high impedance headphones require a much greater output level than low impedance). Virgil receives 2 x audio circuits from a Dante network and routes one to the left and the other to the right channel of the headphone amplifier. A front panel volume control allows the user to adjust the output volume. Three mounting holes are supplied to enable the Virgil to be mounted underneath a studio desk in a suitable location for the users headphones. Needing just 1 single network cable to carry both power & audio to the Virgil makes installation very simple. As well as being suitable for low & high impedance headphones our unique headphone amplifier circuit can be connected to both stereo headphones & mono earpieces, making the Virgil suitable for driving television presenters ear pieces. HALO-4B150

HALO-4B150 is a 4-channel Class D amplifier with networked DSP, delivering 4 × 150 W in low-impedance mode at 4 Ω or 8 Ω. Its four output channels can be bridged to drive high-impedance 70 V or 100 V loudspeaker lines. It features 4 balanced analogue inputs, 4 Dante®/AES67 digital inputs and outputs, 2 balanced auxiliary outputs, and a flexible 4 × 6 digital matrix. Its comprehensive DSP includes input and output parametric equalization, graphic output equalization, crossovers, delay, and configurable peak and RMS limiters. The built-in web application provides intuitive configuration, control and monitoring of the amplifier. Two Ethernet ports with integrated switch functionality allow network daisy-chaining and provide access to control, Dante®/AES67 audio transport and remote management. HALO-4B150 also supports customizable user control panels and integration with EclerCLOUD and the PULSO digital control panel series.
