Powersoft – Ottocanali 12K4 DSP+D

The Ottocanali 12K4 DSP+D offers a wide range of system control and monitoring functions as well as sound shaping options, a total of 12,000 W output power at 4 ohm over 8 channels for lo-Z or distributed line systems. As with former versions of Ottocanali, the DSP+D versions feature switchable main and aux signal inputs per channel, adequate GPIO, alarms, Lo-Z and Hi-Z output connections as well as mono-bridgeable channel pairs. These two RU models implement two redundant universal switch mode power supplies with PFC (Power Factor Correction) and patented SRM (Smart Rails Management) technology that maximises the efficiency of the system as well as drastically reduces power consumption. With two redundant Dante by Audinate digital streams, the Ottocanali 12K4 DSP+D will fit any venue as ‘stand-alone’ unit, making it ideal for multi-zone applications in mid to large-scale installs.

Martin Audio – iKON iK81

The iKON iK81 is an advanced 8-channel power amplifier which combines very high power density with superb audio performance, state-of-the-art DSP and network control. A dedicated controller amplifier for the Martin Audio Wavefront Precision WPM line array, the iK81 can also provide multi-channel amplification across the Martin Audio loudspeaker range. The iK81 can deliver a full 1250 watts per channel into 2, 4 or 8 ohms with all channels driven while remaining highly efficient. Its high efficiency reduces the energy drawn from the mains supply and ensures the power reserves needed to deliver superb sound under arduous live conditions. Ethernet is used for system remote control and monitoring via Martin Audio’s VU-NET software application, while a user friendly front panel interface allows full local control of all features. Dante digital audio network inputs are also provided for digital audio distribution and control. Powerful DSP is fully integrated into the iK81 to provide a multitude of features. It also provides up to 1000 FIR filter taps @ 48kHz on each output channel, which is essential to implement DISPLAY’s wide bandwidth optimisation process in the WPM line array.

Sonifex – AVN-AH8

The AVN-AH8 multi-channel headphone amplifier is a 1U rack-mount which distributes 2 sets of stereo audio to up to 8 different sets of headphones, fed from the Dante AoIP network. A typical application might be to provide common headphone feeds for guests in a radio studio, coming directly from the AoIP network.

Each output has front panel unbalanced 1/4” & 3.5mm jack sockets and a rotary level control. The front panel potentiometers adjust the headphone volumes from mute (fully anticlockwise) to 0dB of gain when fully clockwise. This is useful if the Dante stream level is low or high and requires adjusting.

There are 8 parallel 1/4” jacks on the rear panel, for ease of wiring if the unit is installed in an enclosed rack.

Each of the 8 professional headphone outputs can each select between 2 stereo Dante sources which are routed via Dante controller. The level of each stereo Dante stream can be adjusted ±12dB using one of the two front panel rotary controls. The unit supports AES67 operation and is Dante Domain Manager compliant.

The AVN-AH8 front panel contains a power (PoE) LED, a DC LED, a network link status LED, and a clock LED. A recessed reset switch is also provided.

The unit is powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE) or a 12VDC input via a locking 2.5mm DC Input, 2A minimum rating.
