DELEC – unito NIO 0204

The NIO 0204 is a highly flexible and adaptive networked-audio monitoring controller and pre-amp. The NIO 0204 can be connected directly to a Dante equipped system or a computer running the Dante Virtual Sound Card. The NIO 0204 is a highly flexible and adaptive networked-audio monitoring controller and pre-amp. The NIO 0204 can be connected directly to a Dante equipped system or a computer running the Dante Virtual Sound Card. The half 1RU interface provides four 1GB Ethernet ports (3 x RJ45 and 1 x SFP), two AES/EBU inputs and outputs, a high quality 32-bit stereo microphone preamp, stereo line input and output capability, a stereo headphone amplifier, and an integrated audio mixer. Power for the NIO 0204 can be powered by either the internal power supply unit or via POE (Power Over Ethernet). This makes the NIO 0204 an ideal tool for facilities, production, or broadcast providers that employ centralized computing or processing with just the NIO 0204 providing monitoring to loudspeakers or headphones alongside the computer. Microphones for voiceover, continuity, or commentary can be connected to the NIO 0204’s high quality 32-bit mic inputs, with the remaining analog and digital I/O’s connecting to other local sources such as portable or installed media players for local audition or ingest to the central system via the return Dante connection. The simplicity of installation and configuration reduces the installation costs of the NIO 0204 and gives considerably greater flexibility to the use of an operational area or the choice of location where tasks can be easily carried out.
