AudioScience – Iyo Dante 8.8MD

The Iyo Dante® is a cost-effective family of microphone/line Dante audio-over-IP (AoIP) interfaces in a 1U rack mount format. The 8.8MD provides 8x8 balanced analog audio inputs and outputs. Each input accommodates microphone through line level signals with a gain range of -60 to +24dBu. +48V phantom power is individually switchable on each input. Output levels are configurable up to +24dBu. With DB-25/AES59 terminations.

RGB LEDs on the Iyo’s front panel show per channel audio levels and streaming status.

The Iyo family feature an embedded web server, allowing configuration and monitoring of input and output levels. Routing is achieved using the Dante Controller.

Power is provided from a built-in universal AC power supply. Redundant power is available using an external 12VDC supply via a locking 2.1mm jack.

All units can also be operated in Livewire+ AES67 interoperability mode.

Yamaha – RMio64-D

The RMio64-D remote rack enables audio from a Yamaha CL or QL console to be converted to MADI and fed to an OB vehicle, for example, or a MADI based console can be easily integrated into a NUAGE system for post production. The RMio64-D remote rack enables audio from a Yamaha CL or QL console to be converted to MADI and fed to an OB vehicle, for example, or a MADI based console can be easily integrated into a NUAGE system for post production. Word clock synchronization can be an issue when converting between different audio formats, but with The RMio64-D MADI built-in inputs and outputs built-in eliminate the problem of word clock synchronization when converting between different audio formats. Sample rate conversion sources with differing word clocks can be connected without causing noise or dropouts. In addition to redundant Dante network connections, the RMio64-D also supports MADI redundancy through simultaneous coaxial and optical connections. With the MADI Split (loopback) capability, a signal received at either the coaxial or optical input can now be retransmitted to the output.

CTP Systems – DIO816AES

The DIO816AES is an inexpensive way to get your AES audio into and out of the Dante or AES67 network. The unit has eight stereo AES inputs and eight stereo AES outputs with remote network level control. It can handle multiple sample rates and includes a secondary port for Dante Redundancy or a switch output.
