Since Red 16Line provides both DigiLink™ connectors and Thunderbolt™ connections, it's now easier than ever to switch from Pro Tools | HD™ to a second DAW, without the need to reconfigure option cards in the interface. Simply change the host mode either in the remote control software, or on the device front panel and change DAWs in seconds. High-performance audio conversion with over 118dB dynamic range A-D and 121dB dynamic range D-A (A-weighted). These converters have been expertly selected and calibrated to provide the best balance of sound quality, dynamic range and conversion latency in our best-quality audio interface. Red’s ultra-low round trip latency completely transforms your workflow. If you’re used to having to build two different mixes – one using input monitoring to overdub, the other using the DAW for playback – the good news is that now, one is enough. Build your mix on the DAW and use it whether you’re overdubbing (monitoring the input you’re recording with the Focusrite Control software mixer) or playing back, with all your plug-ins in place, all the time. Red 16Line features 16 line inputs on D-sub, coupled with 16 line outputs and two main monitor outputs. The two digitally-controlled Red Evolution mic preamps provide up to 63dB of ultra-clean gain along with stereo linking, individual phantom power, high-pass filter, phase reverse and Air mode: the name we give to the sonic signature of the classic transformer ISA preamp.

The Bluetooth & Analog Audio to Dante Interface (Model 500555) is a two-way audio transmission panel for Bluetooth, Analog Audio and Dante. It connects to mobile phones, iPad, and other devices through Bluetooth interface or to analog audio sources, and converts the received audio signal into digital signal transmission through Dante network. Power, control, and audio data are transmitted by only one network cable, and there is no need to worry about ground loops or other audio issues. The Bluetooth Audio to Dante Interface is designed to be compatible with standard dual gang US wall boxes with Decora faceplates.

The 16 inputs and outputs of the Dark1616 are parallelled in both analogue and AES for maximum flexibility, with the added benefit of huge 127d8 dynamic range analogue to digital converters (DARK1616M). Moving audio from A to B is now more flexible than ever. The Dante system allows audio links over networks to be un-compressed, low latency and reliable. The 16 inputs and outputs of the Dark1616 are parallelled in both analogue and AES for maximum flexibility, with the added benefit of huge 127d8 dynamic range analogue to digital converters (DARK1616M). The Dante Controller software allows simple point to point or point to multipoint routing across a network of DARK1616 units. Glensound adds broadcast grade reliability to the Dante interface with a primary and redundant CATS link, a primary and redundant SFP/fibre link, and a primary and redundant power supply, with loops indicating link & PSU states.
