Yamaha Unified Communications RM-CR is the audio signal processor at the heart of the RM series. Standard network audio support for "Dante" all compatible devices can be connected with single network cable. Up to 2 RM-CG and 2 VXL1B-16P can be connected via PoE switch SWR2311P-10G. It can automatically recognize connected devices on the same network for audio routing and is equipped with the Auto Tuning functions that automatically measure and provide the optimum sound settings for the environment as well as Auto Mixer functions that automatically mix the audio of all connected microphones with various input/output connections such as USB, VoIP, analog, and Bluetooth.

Each matrix frame holds up twelve oratis IF LAN cards, each connecting one commentator terminal. The IF LAN cards can be combined with audio interface and intercom cards and can be supplemented with GPI interfaces used for controlling external devices. oratis matrix frames can include a line-ident memory used for loop-playing up to 24 idents. This enables the various stations live studio lines to be identified uniquely. As soon as the commentator goes on-air, the line ident is automatically muted.
