Symetrix – xIn 4

The cost effective xIn 4 increases a system’s analog input channel capacity resulting in a reduction in overall price per channel.  The cost effective xIn 4 increases a system’s analog input channel capacity resulting in a reduction in overall price per channel. Designed exclusively for use with Dante-enabled Symetrix DSP units, each of the four analog inputs’ parameters (5 gain levels, phantom power), along with bus assignments, are configured using Symetrix Composer open architecture software. xIn 4 set up is logical and fast with no requirement to use third party software; there are no mechanical switches or circuit board jumpers to set. Systems are simpler, cost less, and have fewer potential points of failure. A half-rack form factor conserves rack space, or, if preferred, the xIn 4 may be surface mounted. Features
  • Audio input (A/D) expander for systems that capitalizes on the surplus DSP of a Dante-enabled Symetrix DSP unit to bring overall system
  • costs down.
  • 4 mic/line inputs, including +48 VDC phantom power, with the industry leading performance specifications of Edge and Radius.
  • Configured with Symetrix Composer. No third party software, archaic DIP switches, or complicated front panel menus.
  • Network audio expansion using Dante protocol over standard IT networks. Ultra low latency.
  • Rack mount and surface mount kits sold separately.

Sonifex – AVN-AO16R 16 Output Dual Dante®Interface, PoE

The AVN-AO16R audio converter and interface converts up to sixteen analogue outputs from the Dante Audio-over-IP networking standard. Dual Ethernet ports allow the unit to operate in redundant mode, ensuring audio routing is maintained in the event of loss of link on either of the network connections.

This cost effective 1U rack-mount unit offers an easy solution for AV professionals and system integrators. It is simple to configure and operate, with all set-up, except line-up levels, done via the standard Dante Controller software and power via PoE (Power Over Ethernet).

All analogue outputs are on high-quality Neutrik XLR connectors and there are front panel status/confidence LEDs for PoE, Link, and Clock. Global 0dBFS line-up can be set to +12dBu, +18dBu or +24dBu to meet your specific requirement via the front panel recessed toggle switch.

Glensound – DARK16AO

The DARK16AO provides 16 low noise balanced analogue audio outputs from a Dante network. It features redundant power supplies and a redundant network interface. The DARK16AO is a versatile break out box for receiving analogue audio from a network utilising the Dante® and AES67 audio over IP (AoIP) protocols. In total there are 16 channels of audio being received from the AoIP network and converted via low noise DACs (Digital to Analogue Converters) to balanced analogue outputs. For ease of cabling audio outputs are presented as balanced circuits on Neutrik XLRs. Being designed for resilient broadcast applications the DARK16AO features both redundant power supplies and redundant Dante® network links with link status GPOs (general purpose outputs (solid state relays)). Both primary and secondary network links are provided with both magnetic (copper RJ45) and fibre (SFP) interface connections. The Dante® system itself provides a completely transparent redundant link system which means that if the DARK16AO lost its primary link circuit the secondary link would automatically take over with no loss of audio.
