The MATRIX-A6 is at the heart of a music distribution, paging, discussion and zone management system for commercial and fixed installations. It has 6 inputs and 6 outputs in a single device powered by a state-of-the-art DSP. Easy to use and install through an intuitive graphical interface, it offers a large number of features for a wide range of applications. The operation of MATRIX-A6 has been designed for three different types of users. The basic level is for authorized operators only to manipulate a microphone and remote volume controllers, the device being transparent to them. The second level is for authorized operators able to change the signal routing and volume from time to time by simple and fast action. Intuitive controls such as input and output selectors, a scroll wheel / data push button, and an LCD display are available for this purpose. Finally, for more precise settings, a PC software editor is available, including powerful DSP functions. It uses a familiar hardware-like layout to allow for a short programming schedule and fast hardware implementation.
