AEQ – NETBOX DSP

The NETBOX DSP is able to receive audio from the Dante network and then return it, mixed and processed, to be used in another device or subsystem. It can also generate test signals and vumeters. Effectively, it is an audio matrix for AoIP networks. The NETBOX DSP is able to receive audio from the Dante network and then return it, mixed and processed, to be used in another device or subsystem. It can also generate test signals and vumeters. Effectively, it is audio matrix for AoIP networks. NETBOX DSP can be used in combination with any AEQ or third-party device from more than 350 manufacturers which are compatible with Dante AoIP protocol. NETBOX DSP also incorporates 16 GPI and 16 GPO (each GPIO connector includes a power supply pin in order to feed external circuitry). GPIO can also be transported through the IP network between compatible devices. This way, a GPIO can drive the GPOs in different piece of equipment.

Asystems – DMP808D

Asystems' DMP808D is a 12-in x 8-out digital matric processor. Designed specifically for installed sound, the Asystems' DMP808 automatic mixers combine clean, simple designs with smart signal processing. These systems offer fast-acting, noise-free microphone normalization that automatically adjusts to changes in background room noise. This essentially helps maintain high quality audio despite the number of open microphones. Networking capabilities allow integration of any number of DMP808 mixers for expanding the system to up to 400 microphones.

Input on the DMP808 is achieved through professional standard 3-pin euroblock connectors for balanced connections. Two sets of stereo RCA connectors are also included for extended application. All inputs and outputs are utilized through the flexible matrix routing system, controlled via the included user-intuitive PC software. This software also allows you to control the extensive on-board signal processing, including 4-band parametric EQs, feedback silencers, duckers, noisegates, compressors, limiters and, of course, automatic mixing including NOM (Number of Open Microphones) compensation. With flexible networking capabilities (including a Dante networking option) and highly accurate automixing, the DMP808 automatic mixer is a must-have for all large commercial installations.

BSS – BLU-326DA

Formerly known as BLU-326 The Soundweb London BLU-326DA offers configurable I/O, Dante / AES67 audio, and a high bandwidth, fault tolerant digital audio bus. The BLU-326DA is configurable through HiQnet™ London Architect. A rich palette of logic objects and a “drag and drop” method of configuration provide a simple and familiar design environment. This processor features Dante / AES67 audio with primary and secondary ports for fault tolerance, with control through a separate Ethernet port. As well, the processor includes support for Dante 4.0 firmware for integration with Dante Domain Manager. The BLU-326DA also features a low latency, fault tolerant digital audio bus of 256 channels which uses standard Category 5e cabling giving a distance of 100m between compatible devices. Fiber optic media converters can be used to increase the distance between devices to over 40km. Four card slots which accommodate analog inputs, analog outputs, digital inputs and digital outputs in banks of four facilitate many different device I/O configurations. Analog Input Cards provide software configurable gain in 6dB steps up to +48dB per channel and software selectable Phantom Power per channel. Digital Input Cards and Digital Output Cards process AES/EBU and/or S/PDIF audio and offer a variety of clocking and syncing options. (Further information about the I/O cards can be found on dedicated datasheets) Phantom Power, Sync, Signal Present and Clip information per channel is easily accessible, without the requirement for a PC, from clear front panel LED indication. Device-specific information such as Device Name, Device Type, Firmware Version Number, Time, IP Address and Subnet Mask is available from the front panel display. A bi-directional locate function allows devices to be identified both from and within HiQnet London Architect. 12 Control Inputs and 6 Logic Outputs allow the BLU-326DA to be integrated with GPIO compatible devices. The Soundweb London Interface Kit, comprehensive documentation which details how Soundweb London systems can be integrated with third party control systems, is included within the installation of HiQnet London Architect. The BLU-326DA and the other members of the Soundweb London family provide the building blocks of the perfectly tailored system solution.
