Xilica – Sonia Amp

Sonia Amp is a PoE+ IP-addressable amplifier designed to power up to eight (8) Sonia C5 5.25" speakers from a single unit. Offering four (4) distinct channels that can supply Sonia C5 speakers with either the identical or different audio feeds, Sonia Amp allows a single amplifier to drive audio in anywhere between one and four different rooms. Sonia Amp is entirely CatX- based, requiring no proprietary audio connectors or traditional copper speaker wire. Instead, IT technicians can install Sonia systems with standard Category cable and RJ45 connectors, dramatically lowering time and cost of deployment. Unlike traditional amplifiers that require a dedicated equipment rack for mounting and ventilation, Sonia Amp mounts directly to the rear of any Sonia C5 speaker, eliminating in-room storage and permitting a full room speaker system to be hidden in a suspended ceiling. Sonia Amp is convection cooled without any fan noise and is Plenum rated to enable installation in air handling spaces. Sonia Amp is Dante enabled, AES67-compatible, and offers an integrated network switch with PoE to enable the powering of a ceiling-mounted microphone array. In this respect, Sonia Amp adds additional value to the IT technician by creating just one single Category cable drop to the ceiling for the full room audio system. When paired with a Xilica Solaro QR1, an entire audio system can be deployed in the drop-ceiling. Sonia Amp additionally offers fault sensing on each channel, providing the same monitoring capabilities as an individually addressable IP speaker without the cost.

The D-6000 is a high power professional amplifier specially designed for the sound re-enforcement market also referred to as SR, which incorporates a DSP, Digital Signal Processor and Audinates’s Dante™ digital audio network. 

Dante delivers low latency, robust synchronization, I/O scalability, and installation simplicity via standard IT technology. 

The D-6000 will deliver up to 4800 watts of power per channel down to 4 ohm loads. Housed in two RU compact frameworks, the D-6000 Class D amplifier offers high power with reduced size and weight. 

The combination Class D topology amplification circuitry combined with SMPS (Switch Mode Power Supplies) creates a high efficiency amplifier that offers reduced power consumption and low heat dissipation. The D-6000 is ideal for applications where high power and efficiency is required. This may include houses of worship, arenas, stadiums, concert venues, touring or any other large-scale facilities.

For maximum comfort with every installation, the d:16 comes with a set of convenient signal processing tools. The optional DSP module offers an equalizer, a compressor, a limiter, and a delay. Even with complex installations, the multi-channel amplifier can thus function as a compact all-in-one solution. Thanks to Ethernet-interface and web-applications, all of the amplifier's features can be remote-controlled. The web-based control makes it possible to make instant adjustments to the system from any location. The DSP option can be remote-controlled in the same way.
