Dante media encryption operates within existing processing and waiting cycles of a transmit and receive device. In doing so there is no direct impact to the Dante latency of an encrypted flow.

Some software-based Dante systems may experience additional CPU loading that can indirectly affected the receiver’s Dante latency.
