MacOS: “Dante Via is not activated” warning after updating MacOS to 13 (Ventura) or 14 (Sonoma)

If you see following warning in the left bottom corner, and the activation window is white without any option to choose, make sure that Dante Via is allowed to run in the background.

How to check if its allowed to run in the background?

Go to System preferences -> General -> Login Items, and enable Audinate Pty Ltd. If you see the same option for Dante Virtual Soundcard, and it’s disabled, enable it too as it should solve “DVS manager is no longer responding” error as well.
