Dante Controller: “Child process exited with code 1” on Windows

In a Windows multi-user environment, Dante Controller 4.7.0 can crash with the message ‘Child process exited with code 1’. This issue was fixed from Dante Controller version 4.7.1.1. If you are experiencing this issue, please ensure that the latest version of Dante Controller has been installed from the Software Downloads page.

If you continue to receive the error, delete the Interprocess folder. It will be recreated after restarting Dante Controller.

This is found in the main drive (usually C:\), under users, then your username, AppData, Local, Audinate. It will look like this, where your username is in place of [username]:

C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Audinate
