Are all subscriptions encrypted with Dante media encryption?
Dante media encryption will only encrypt media subscription if both the transmit and receive devices can support encryption and they are enrolled in a Dante managed network.
When a receive device is incapable of decrypting a media flow, the transmitting device channel policy will determine whether an unencrypted subscription is established, or the subscription fails. A compatible policy will result in an unencrypted media subscription, whilst a strict policy will fail to create a subscription.
When a transmit device is incapable of encrypting a media flow, the resulting subscription will always be unencrypted.
