Dante Virtual Soundcard v4.5.2.3 (Windows)

Release Date: 7th of October 2025

This is a maintenance release that delivers a range of bug fixes.

The functionality of Dante Virtual Soundcard is determined by the license type applied:

  • Single Machine License: Supports fixed installations, ideal for long-term use without requiring an internet connection after initial activation.
  • Transferable License: Allows users to move the license between machines, convenient for short-term productions or hardware upgrades. Requires periodic internet access (every 30 days) for license validation.
  • Pro License: Flexibility of Transferable AND unlocks advanced features for demanding applications, including:
    • Expanded Channel Capacity: Up to 128×128 channels at 96kHz.
    • Enhanced Connectivity: Supports up to 64 flows for greater flexibility.
    • Virtual Machine Compatibility: Install DVS Pro in virtual environments.
    • Unicast Clocking: Reliable synchronization in software-based audio workflows without external hardware devices.
    • *Annual recurring license. Renews at the current retail price each year. Requires periodic internet access (every 30 days) for license validation.

Existing holders of a DVS Single Machine or Transferable license can upgrade to the Pro license.
