Dante Controller v4.15.0.10 Package (Windows)

Dante Controller v4.15.0 package delivers a range of new Dante Controller features, including support for Dante Media Encryption.
The installer includes 3 applications: Dante Controller 4.15.0, Dante Updater 2.8.2 and Dante Activator 2.7.1.

Note: Dante Controller requires 64-bit capable hardware.
Notes
Installing or Updating Dante Controller
To install Dante Controller you will need to be logged on with administrator privileges.
Note: You do not need to uninstall the previous version before installing this update.
To install Dante Controller:
- Ensure you are logged on to your computer as an administrator.
- Navigate to and double-click the downloaded Dante Controller installer file.
- Read the license agreement. If you agree to the terms, select the ‘I agree’ checkbox and click Install.
- If you do not agree to the terms, click Close.
- Confirm / acknowledge any Windows security prompts that are displayed.

- Support for Dante Media Encryption – establish secure subscriptions between devices that support media encryption functionality. Dante Director is also required to enable this functionality.
- Controller table information extraction – select and copy information in Dante Controller from device tables (e.g. device info, clock and network status)

- CM-1402: DDM interop: Dante Controller incorrectly allows enrolled Brooklyn II devices at v4.0.9.2 firmware to create AES67 flows. Workaround: Reboot the Brooklyn II device.
- CM-1424: DDM interop: The ‘Create Multicast Flow’ dialog incorrectly reports support for 64 channels / flow for SMPTE configs that only support 8.
- CM-1432: DDM interop: Dante Controller shows SMPTE clock domains 1, 2 and 3 as sample rate pull-up clock domains in the clocking status tab.
- CS-1191: On some systems the Dante Activator application can take up to a minute to launch

- CS-1489: When a firmware file is uploaded in the Library, the device does not immediately display in the Imported Firmware Files section. Workaround: Toggle the network interface on DU to find the imported firmware file.

- ETS-5547: Unable to update using local firmware imported to the Dante Updater Library

Audinate’s Support for Inclusive Language
To our customers: some of the terminology used in Dante products has been changed to align with modern usage. Specifically, areas related to Dante clocking now refer to “Primary Leader Clock”, “Leader Clocks” and “Follower Clocks” to describe the functions of each role more clearly.
