How to Clear Domain Credentials

If you have removed a device from the network without first unenrolling it, you need to clear its domain credentials before it can be deployed elsewhere. Clearing Domain Credentials can also be used to restore automatic discovery in devices previously manually enrolled in a Domain by IP address. 

This can be done using Dante Controller.

1. Isolate the device from the rest of the Dante network and the DDM server
   • i.e. plug directly into computer, plug into a switch with just your computer and the device or put in an isolated VLAN
2. Disconnect and reconnect the device
3. When the device appears double click on it to open the Device View window
4. From the Device menu, select Clear Domain Credentials
5. In the popup window click the Clear Config button
6. Power cycle the device
