Sound Devices model 970 is a robust, 64-track Dante and MADI-equipped multi-track audio recorder. The half rack, 2U device simplifies applications requiring high-track-count, high-quality audio recordings. The 970 records 64 channels of monophonic or polyphonic 24-bit, 48 kHz WAV files from any of its 144 available input connections. Connections include 64 channels of Ethernet-based Dante, 64 channels of optical or coaxial MADI, eight channels of line-level analog, and eight channels of AES digital. Any input can be assigned to any track. 32-track recording at 96 kHz is supported.

Medialon – Showmaster Go

This capable and flexible device is suited to many applications and installation types. Its ruggedized, small form factor makes it ideal for ride vehicles and parade floats, Showmaster Go combines a Pro version Medialon show controller with 16 channels of Dante network audio output.

Medialon Show Controller
Running Medialon Manager V7 show control software, this little box packs a lot of punch when it comes to controlling audio, video, lighting, animatronics, special effects, interfacing with PLCs and ride controllers, and synchronizing to multiple time sources.

Unlimited audio playback potential
Synchronized and asynchronously triggered audio playback are possible, mixed into the same Dante output channels. There is no limit to the polyphonic audio layering possible on Showmaster Go. You can have as many Players as you want. Add more storage capacity beyond the built-in SSD with USB 3.0 drives or a network file server.

Connects to PLCs and ride controllers
Showmaster Go connects to PLCs via the network, simplifying show triggers and feedback to ride control, motion control, and show action equipment control systems.

Shock Resistant, Heat Resistant Hardware
The only moving part is a small cooling fan, so the shock and vibrations you’d expect on a ride vehicle or parade float are no sweat for Showmaster Go. With the optional shock mount, you can throw even rougher conditions at it!

Adaptable to the Size of Your Show
Need more audio output channels? Upgrade from 16 to 32 or 64 channels. Only need one Timeline? Downgrade to Manager V7 Lite. Customize the software licensing to the needs of your show.

Alcorn McBride – RidePlayer

RidePlayer provides an elegant solution to many of the unique challenges encountered with implementing vehicle-based (“on-board”) audio and show control for themed attractions. RidePlayer provides an elegant solution to many of the unique challenges encountered with implementing vehicle-based (“on-board”) audio and show control for themed attractions.  The most significant of those challenges is the ability to precisely synchronize on-board audio with wayside audio, video, lighting, animatronics, etc.  RidePlayer accomplishes this by providing a state-of-the-art synchronization system that can use one of several methods to maintain lock between on-board and wayside systems.  Those methods include GPS (which can be distributed with repeaters for indoor applications), SMPTE (which can be transmitted wirelessly), Video Genlock, and IEEE-1588 (CIP Sync). Another significant challenge is the ability to trigger and monitor important sub-systems like animation controllers, PLCs, RFID scanners, and other miscellaneous equipment.  RidePlayer overcomes this challenge by integrating the power of Alcorn McBride V-Series control into the same hardware platform.  This means the capability to interface to just about any device including PLCs, animation controllers, sensors, lighting systems, video servers, and our ShowTouch panels. Of course, the primary purpose of this device is to provide high-quality audio playback so it has a wide-range of features to suit that requirement well.  It will be capable of sourcing up to 16 outputs of 24-bit 96kHz uncompressed audio with the ability to route, mix, and crossfade between tracks.  At 24-bit 96kHz, each output will have up to 4 layers of polyphonic playback capability.
