The Smart pi EDC is a partnership with EDC Acoustics to integrate EDC’s Plane Array™ technology which allows systems the ability to create 3D wave fronts. Each speaker is capable of vertical and/or horizontal steering as well as customizable wave shaping, allowing re-configurable pattern control to suit any venue or area further increasing speech intelligibility in difficult acoustic environments.
Dante DP PoE Speaker is multifunctional with either POE power supply or 2 4VDC, audio transmission and signal control via a RJ45 Ethernet port. It can obtain power supply from any Ethernet switch of 802.3 or above standard. Over Dante™ Ethernet that transmits 24-bit audio (44.1K/48KHz) its control signal can be routed through the Dante™ Controller. All these functions can perform remotely on the PC or Mac by Dante Controller Software.

Dante Network Transmission
Dante is used for audio transmission to achieve digital and network transmission management. Dante is based on layer 3 IP network technology and adopts Zeroconf protocol to simplify the network operation mode. It can realize long-distance transmission of two-way high-quality big data and perfect synchronous playback with low delay. The device is plug and play, system construction has no topology limitation, installation and configuration is convenient, and wiring is simple and easy.
PoE power supply
Ethernet power supply and audio and data transmission are integrated, simplifying cable layout and meeting Ethernet engineering specifications. PoE network cabling uses 50V dc power supply for bearing Ethernet cables, without restrictions on high-voltage ac cabling, and better meets site safety and fire prevention specifications.
