Pan Acoustics – PB 04

Pan Beam PB 04 is a column speakers with a slim, appealing design. The PB 04 can generate an single beam, to set the focus on a listening area. It is possible to modify the beams by means of various optimizers (max SPL, min side lobes). Operated via a user friendly Windows Software, the connection to the computer is made through a RS 485 network. Over the digital signal processing the vertical and the inclination angle, the volume, sound and delay can be entered and controlled. The Pan Beam PB 04 is equipped with four specially- designed 3.5“ chassis, DSP modules and four digital amplifiers offering maximum performance of 80 watts per channel. A single Pan Beam PB 04 can cover a listening area up to 15 meters, with constant speech intelligibility and sound pressure. The DANTE option offers some interesting features, for the active column speakers. The Pan Beam series can be operated with two independent audio streams with a sampling frequency of up to 192 kHz. The priority function in the Pan Beams allows the automatic switchover of the audio source, e.g. switching between programs and massaging signals. DANTE option provides a primary port and a secondary port, which can be used in redundant mode or daisy-chain mode. The daisy-chain enables the connection of another compatible DANTE-devices to the network (such as a digital Stagebox). Pan Beam functions (Setup Beamsteering, EQ, Delay etc.) can be set and monitored via Dante audio network.

The AMK DS84-B-X is a Dante™ audio network addressable and self-amplified ceiling speaker system. The speaker is powered by PoE+ network switch meaning no external power supply is required. The AMK DS84-B-X is a Dante™ audio network addressable and self-amplified ceiling speaker system. The speaker is powered by PoE+ network switch meaning no external power supply is required. The speaker includes a Class D amplifier which provides effective use of power. This system will solve the issue of having to provide a separate amplifier or I/O interface for speaker installations. The system comes with 8” coaxial 40W loudspeaker driver, CX802, that has excellent dispersion, wide bandwidth and a smooth frequency response makes this the top choice for today’s overhead commercial applications. One PoE+ amplified speaker can power a total of (4) speakers, including (3) additional passive speakers, with (2) speakers per audio zone. The audio network system is also compatible with AES67 and it is Dante Domain Manager Ready. Which makes this speaker system to be flexible with other audio network systems as well. This assembly can be used in wide range of projects for paging and background music applications.
