The unito NAM 602/603 is the first product from a new DELEC range – a speaker amplifier for IP networks that converts traditional analog and digital audio to IP and vice versa. This way, it combines audio, which still relies mostly on analog technologies, with the emerging innovative world of IP. The NAM 602/603 transfers the audio from the Dante audio network right to the speakers and, therefore, is the ideal monitoring tool for a multitude of applications. Designed for either indoor or outdoor use, the NAM 602/603 carries an IP66 rating that ensures solid performance under the most challenging conditions. This unit incorporates dual 1GB Ethernet ports (2 x RJ45), four outputs that deliver 12W RMS at 4, 8 or 16 Ohms or, alternatively, two outputs delivering 24W RMS at 8 or 16 Ohms, AES/EBU input and output capability, plus a microphone input. Like the NAM 203, this higher capacity model also provides Delay and Gain, as well as FIR and IIF filters on each channel. The unit is powered by an external power supply. Also noteworthy, the NAM 603 offers redundant audio sources for power amp inputs when used in combination with other DELEC Dante enabled products.

This new powerhouse features a fully-integrated DANTE™ network, a high-performance DSP and controllability via USB and Ethernet using external control PC software. The top-of-the-line power amp can be operated as a two or four-channel device. An impressive four kilowatts provide plenty of power reserves as 4 x 1,000 watts at 4 or 2 ohms or 2 x 2,000 watts (bridge mode) at 8 or 4 ohms. Maximum operational reliability is also guaranteed at 2 ohms. Comprehensive safety features permanently protect the power amps and the system, even in tough situations. FIR/IIR filtering, EQs and crossovers, as well as delay functions, are all part of the overall technology.
