The 16 inputs and outputs of the Dark1616 are parallelled in both analogue and AES for maximum flexibility, with the added benefit of huge 127d8 dynamic range analogue to digital converters (DARK1616M).

Moving audio from A to B is now more flexible than ever. The Dante system allows audio links over networks to be un-compressed, low latency and reliable. The 16 inputs and outputs of the Dark1616 are parallelled in both analogue and AES for maximum flexibility, with the added benefit of huge 127d8 dynamic range analogue to digital converters (DARK1616M). The Dante Controller software allows simple point to point or point to multipoint routing across a network of DARK1616 units. Glensound adds broadcast grade reliability to the Dante interface with a primary and redundant CATS link, a primary and redundant SFP/fibre link, and a primary and redundant power supply, with loops indicating link & PSU states.

RDL – RU-BNF

The RU-BNF is a high quality bi-directional interface that converts three Dante channels to RDL Format-A and one Dante channel to balanced AUX output. It also converts three Format-A pairs and one AUX input to Dante channels. The RU-BNF is compatible with Format-A twisted-pair end-points. Model RU-BNFP operates from PoE. The RU-BNF is a high quality bi-directional interface that converts three Dante channels to RDL Format-A and one Dante channel to a balanced AUX output. It also converts three Format-A pairs and one AUX input to Dante channels. The RU-BNF is compatible with RDL Format-A twisted-pair end-point products. RDL’s Format-A system utilizes the 4 pairs of a standard CATx cable; 3 pairs (pairs A, B and C) are designated for sending and receiving audio and the fourth pair is used to distribute 24 Vdc to connected Format-A products. The RU-BNF provides signal presence metering and is equipped to power connected Format-A endpoints. The RU-BNF is also available in a PoE version (RU-BNFP). If PoE power and an external 24 Vdc supply are both feeding an RU-BNFP, the unit will run from the external supply and will seamlessly switch over to PoE power upon loss of the external supply.

After the Release of the «Digital Patchbay 1132 Dante» in September last year, we are now proud to release the next generation of Ghielmetti device.

The new Digital Patchbay GDP 1232 Dante, goes now full Digital.

As in its analog version, this AES3 version offers you again efficiently the possibility to connect the “old world” with the “new world”. Thanks to the new GDP 1232 Dante, you can patch your Dante signals, add effortless 16 AES3 inputs to your Dante network or extract 16 Dante channels as AES3 outputs, just by simple patching.

The GDP 1232 Dante is not only a patching solution as it enable you also to mix all signals.

These newly mixed signals are then available to be fed into your Dante network. Through its front display and navigation knobs, there is no need for a Dante Controller.

Furthermore, Monitoring, mixing and setting can be made either from the front display or via a remote web browser. The GDP 1232 Dante is a 19”, 1 RU device, its assembly depth is 220 mm, which make it very interesting for integration in tight spaces.
